I do not like writing a bad review on any particular item because we all know that it is just someone’s personal opinion. This derringer was a disaster right out of the box. First, the trigger was so stiff that I had to pull it with both hands. The recoil was way too much for my hand. I tried several different ammo types and same result with all of them. I stripped it down and took a small file and filed the trigger just a touch. It was a little better but not one that I felt comfortable carrying in my pocket for a life saving incident. Possible factory casting issues?. Sorry Cobra but I was not happy with this one.

Cheap but functional BUG. Heavy trigger. Good for deep concealment. Quality is fair but you get what you pay for. Decent value for the money.

I think it's a good little gun, it's not made for accuracy but for close quarters. I had watched some YouTube videos and to me the trigger pull is not as awkward as some say nor is the hammer cocking as hard as some may say it is to them. All in all I think it's a good little gun to have in your collection.

I can only give my initial review since I have shot it yet due to ammo shortage. The Derringer is nice all around. Love the cherry wood wooden grips and the weight of it. 1st derringer ever purchased. The only issue I have is when I received it the pin that meets the hammer is already rusted. So before I can fire it I have to break it down and clean it and make sure none of the internal parts are rusted as well. I will give an updated review after I strip it down and shoot it.
