I hadn't handled an AR-15 style rifle in many years, and never a left-handed one. The Rock River Arms seems to be very well made, durable and extremely solid. I have not had the chance to fire it yet, but it was easy to disassemble and reassemble, even for a novice. Having all the fire controls on the "right" side is a tremendous boost. I have customized it with a red-dot for the primary sight and a pair of flip-up iron sights for the secondary. Everything snapped into place smartly. The magazine, emblazoned with the Rock River logo, is almost indistinguishable from the Mag Pul versions I picked up when the rifle arrived. I am very pleased and hope to take it out for a detailed shakedown shortly.
