The upper and lower receivers are made from Billet aircraft grade aluminum, with a Type III Hard Black Anodized finish, while the barrel is 16" 41v50 Black Nitride with 1/2x36 thread pitch and 1:10 twist. This creates the base for a durable Duty ready direct blowback Pistol Caliber Carbine. Besides creating the heart and soul of the FMP9 rifle out of quality materials, they have also added multiple user-friendly features to it as well. The FM9A-R1615-442 comes with an ambidextrous selector switch, and incredibly enough an ambidextrous bolt hold open. There are not many, if any, AR9 models out there with an ambidextrous BHO lever on the right side of the firearm for quick manipulation. FM Products has made their BHO intuitive and easy to manipulate. This model features the traditional AR T charging handle that the majority of users are familiar with. It also features a 15" MLOK Free Float rail system, sturdy M4 6 position polymer butt stock, a blast diffuser muzzle device, and comes with 1-27rd Magpul 9mm Glock style magazine.
