Easy ammo to get. Small I the pocket but large in sound and power. I was surprised how good it shot. I will be using g this as my boot gun.

This gun looks very nice and clean. I have even received compliments. The hammer on the gun does not have a good feel to it. It feels cheap, and doesn't have a solid smooth lock back. My local gunsmith said that was likely the springs. I took it out to shoot and it fires fine. I thought it might be a challenge to hold with such a small grip, but it was better than I expected (there is not much to hold onto). Keep in mind there is no extractors so you need to have a way of getting the spent shells out. Also the barrels are not bored on the same axis. The lower barrel (on mine at least) will shoot about 6 inches low and left at 15 feet. It is a derringer so you should not plan on shooting long range (at least I am not). If you are looking for a cost effective derringer to see if you like them it is a good way to go. For the price I don't regret getting it, but next time I will pay more for higher quality.
