Hi Joseph, yes sir, this will fire both 410 slugs and buckshot. It comes with 3 choke tubes, full, modified, & improved cylinder. Do not shoot slugs through a full choke. Improved cylinder will give best results with slugs. Stay safe & have a great day!

I think Randy I. posted this answer meant for maybe another question? Anyway, yes, you can shoot both .410 slugs & Buchshot.

NO IT IS UNSAFE TO SHOOT A 45LC in a 410 look at it this way the 410 has a bore diameter of 0.41 inch the 45LC uses a 0.454 bullet trying to push a .454 bullet through a .410 hole will cause a huge spike in pressure which the gun is not made to handle. Guns like the judge can fire a 410 because the bore is made for a 45LC which is larger than 410.

The standard bore diameter of a .410 is as expected 0.410 inches in diameter with constriction down to ~0.375 inches if your gun is choked about full choke. The 45 Colt is 0.451-.454 inches in diameter. That is significantly larger than the bore of a 410 shotgun it would be unsafe. In some cases, a .410 bore shotgun can be designed to also fire .45 Colt ammunition. This type of firearm is known as a "combination gun" or "combo gun." These firearms have barrels and chambers that are chambered for both .410 shotgun shells and .45 Colt cartridges. The key feature of these combo guns is a chamber that can accept both .410 shotgun shells and .45 Colt ammunition. The .45 Colt cartridges used in these firearms are typically longer than standard .410 shotgun shells, and the chamber is designed to accommodate both lengths. Stay safe & have a great day!

Hi Dennis, Citadel does not give the weight on this exact model. The model with the hand guard is 5.5 lbs, (according to Citadel) so I would imagine this is slightly less. Other vendors are saying anything from 5.5 to 6.5 lbs. Stay safe & have a great day!

this 410 shotgun is smooth. Action is nice, trigger is good and clean pull. The sights are very good and it does have a threaded choke and comes with the tool to remove. Loads easy and was on target during my 15 yard testing. It's a fun light recoil shoygun that adds to that joy of the lever action top eject. This was a great addition to gear and has cycled nearly 100 rounds so far with zero issues or complaints. Would recommend to anyonwanting a great light recoile shotgun.

This may be subjective, but this shotgun has the heft of a top quality firearm. The lever action is almost as smooth as a Henry, if that gives you perspective. (I own 2 so I do know.) The trigger is a bit stiff, but I'm sure a proper break-in period will help that. It did come with 1 choke and choke wrench.
