Fostech designed the Black Widow to surpass even the most uncompromising shooters' standards, and every single piece that is on the Black Widow, from the fluted buffer tube to the rugged and effective muzzle brake, was meticulously tested and implemented for maximum effectiveness. The Fostech Black Widow brings a whole new meaning to the word Stealth. Weighing in at only 4.2 lbs. the Fostech Black Widow is ridiculously light while incredibly strong. This model is chambered in 9mm and is Glock mag compatible. It features billet aluminum upper and lower, and an incredibly lightweight and maneuverable 7.5" 1 in 10 twist rate barrel manufactured with a 1/2 x 28 thread pattern. Other components include a Mach 2 ultra-lightweight M LOK compatible rail, a Stern Defense integrated 9mm mag well, a Stern Defense 9mm black nitride bolt carrier group, and a Fostech Sabre grip. Now, for the main attraction, drumroll please..... this model ships complete with an Echo AR-II trigger pre-installed and tested from the factory! All of these premium features are designed to allow the pistol to keep an ultra-trim profile while also making it a workhorse capable of long days on the range. These pistols are fully optic-ready and are designed to hold up under even the heaviest combat conditions while still being a literal work of art. This model features a Tungsten Cerakote finish. Pistol ships complete with one 33-round GLOCK OEM factory magazine.
The Echo II Trigger is a groundbreaking design that is 100% ATF-approved. This unique trigger allows the shooter to select from 3 different settings.
- Safe Mode: Firearm will not fire.
- Semi-Automatic Mode: Firearm fires when the trigger is pulled.
- Echo Mode: Firearm fires when the trigger is pulled and also when the trigger is released
The Echo Trigger is designed with safety being the utmost priority. When the shooter is in the Echo Mode and depresses the trigger, one round is fired- if so desired, a second round can be fired upon release of the trigger, or the shooter can move the selector to the safe position. The second round will not fire upon release.
