Where is it made and is it machined or stamped frame?

Made in Turkey, distributed through SDS imports out of Tennessee. The Tisas 1911 A1 US Army .45 ACP is made of forged carbon steel and has a parkerized finish. The gun also has Colt 70 Series internals and checkered plastic grips. Frame and slide The frame and slide are forged from carbon steel The frame is full-size and ramped The slide is government length Barrel The barrel is 5 inches long and forged and machined with button rifling Finish The gun has a parkerized finish The finish has a hint of olive-drab coloration Grips The grips are checkered plastic The Tisas Museum-Grade 1911A1 also comes with double-diamond checkered wood grips.

It does not say US Army on the gun. Its labeled U.S. 1911-A1 which was the army designation of the service issued 1911

This is a beautiful representation of what my Pap and Uncle used while serving in the US Military. Fit and finish is amazing. I won't say for the price because this pistol easily could sell for 500 or 600 dollars. First time at the range ran FMJ 230 grain, ran like a champ with no malfunctions. Recoil is very mild. This pistol is not only a beautiful reproduction of history, but funny to shot. Highly recommend the Tisas, any Tisas really. Buds, great price fast shipping

put almost 300 rounds in it and not a single malfunction which i was expecting being a brand new pistol very solid construction,nice details. Whatever is left from the bullet when it hits metal targets is a thing layer of the rear jacket vs a half mushed bullet from my glock 36

Fit and finish is fantastic, really nice. If you're a striker fired polymer guy this will feel like a nice steel machine by comparison. 2 FTF with white box ball rounds in the first 200 rounds. Wouldn't feed federal hollow points with the stock magazines. Still breaking it in. Just a great no frills 1911
