I have hunted for years with this rifle, and despite it having one recall (which Weatherby contacted me about, shipped both ways for free, and fixed for free) I have had no other issues with the gun. It's very accurate, and I have taken a variety of large game with it. I love that it's weatherproof and I've hunted in rain and snow with this gun many times. I highly recommend Weatherby rifles and I own two including this one.

I love the gun. It shoots as advertised. I love the stock on this rifle also. This rifle has been very reliable and has taken a number of deer with it.

Ok, I have many bolt action rifles and this is my first Weatherby. Fit and finish is good. Good looking rifle. Took it to range and on first day had sub moa groups (not many this 7mm mag kicks). I am definitely happy with this rifle, another Weatherby may be in the picture. This is my 8th purchase from Buds and there was a glitch on the web page during the order. I called Buds and the professionalism and courtesy was outstanding! The problem was corrected - quickly, the staff called me 3 times to update me on every step. Still received the rifle within a week! Thanks Buds (Walda)

This is the 4th vanguard 2 that I have purchased from Bud's. That should tell you something. Less than MOA out of box with reloads. Trigger adjusts easily and feels great. I also own Savage guns with Accutrigger, nice and accurate, but rifle is not on par with Weatherby Vanguard 2. My opinion it's worth the extra money. Stiffer and better stock, better looks, better quality. I own several guns from over the years and in this day and time this rifle is the best buy for the money.
