Absolutely stunning rifle to shoot. I will say that the factory trigger was not my favorite so I replaced it with an SSA-E and that was all it needed to be a nail driver at 200 yards. Amazing rifle, amazing company and amazing service from Buds.

it felt like forever since i order my rifle though BUD'S. but the wait was worth it. i love my daniel defense m4 v4 rifle, when i got the call here from my local gun shop here in little rock called DON'S WEAPONARY i rushed down there and begun the paper work and was on delay for the weekend. the people at the gun shop are great. only 50 dollars for the transfer fee and i was off thanks BUD'S you guy's made it easy to purchse my gun and have it ship here all nice and safe and i will be back for more

This is a nice mid-tier DI AR, especially at this price point. Fit and finish are very good with the exception of a few nicks in the upper where the anodizing has been removed. Then again, this is a tool and not a safe queen. I really like the Omega rail, which really lives up to the hype. I prefer the M4V7 variant with the slim profile hand guard and mid-length gas system but it wasn't available at the time. I slapped a set of Magpul MBUS sights, a MOE hand grip, EOTech XPS2, and VTAC light mount w/ Klarus XTC tactical light. With the proper ammo, this will be my primary HD weapon. Overall, I am pleased with the product. Bud's service was exceptional and I will purchase from them again.

This is the first AR type rifle that I've ever owned as I'm an "AK guy". With that said, every red blooded American should own an AR. I didn't want to skimp on quality but also had a budget so I did my research and the Daniel Defense M4v4 was the one that I ended up choosing. I like the fact that it's a flat top with no sights so that I can add my own set of flip ups and a red dot. Went to the range yesterday with a 400 round of mixture of 55 gr. & 62 gr. steel case Tula ammo. The Range Officer sees my ammo and gun and proceeds to tell me, "Son AR rifles don't like that cheap steel case ammo that you are using, your gun is going to hang up". He must not have realized that I bought a Daniel Defense and not some cheap piece of junk. Anyway, proceeded to sight in the cheap red dot (some generic Chinese junk) that I have available at the moment on the 50 yard range. Once sighted in the rifle is dead on accurate even with the cheap ammo & optic. Proceeded to the 100 yard range and was still shooting good groups. Went through the 400 rounds with no hiccups whatsoever and would've kept shooting if I'd have brought more ammo because it was so much fun. I've got to get a good set of optics for the rifle because a rifle this nice shouldn't have a $40 barely functioning generic piece of junk on top of it. With all that said, the fit and finish on this rifle is top notch. If you are looking for a Top Tier AR at a budget friendly price of under $1,200 shipped then this thing is for you.

This is one fine looking and shooting AR. FIt and finish are excellent and its very accurate. Get a set of Magpul fold down battle sights and your favorite optic and your in business.
