I bought this gun for long range shooting but quickly traded it for something that came fully equipped for what I needed at the time with a scope mounted and all the accessories that I required so while I can't give a glowing review of this rifle because i didnt have it long I will say that the action was smooth from what I felt when handling it and the stock was the perfect size as far as my shoulder goes and it was easy to find additions for it and it has great resale value. Finally got to break in and sight in my Weatherby .308 carbine that I bought a month ago. I put about fifty rounds down range and the last three at 100 yds.fit behind a dime. This is my fourteenth Weatherby rifle and just as always, I am more than pleased with everything about them. You can't beat the quality and accuracy of these rifles and at Bud's prices, you can't beat that either. Very satisfied in So. Mississippi.

The gun is light - the trigger is pretty much perfect / really / perfect - the first cold bore shot always lands in the exact same spot no matter the 3 different ammos that I have used at 100 yard's.

This rifle is everything I had read and then some! Amazingly light and easy to handle, it is a pleasure to carry. Put a Burris Fullfield 2-7X on it, and after four shots to set the scope, this rifle put the next two rounds together in the 10 ring at 100 yards. I walked down to check the target, not believing what I saw, then back to the bench and fired one more round. It hit the previous 2 holes. All three holes can be covered, completely, by a dime, and all in the 10 ring. I could not be more pleased! I was using the bullets I plan on hunting with, Hornady's 150gr Spire point "Whitetail Hunter" rounds. I cannot wait to try this beauty out when gun season starts! This was my first on-line order, and Bud's was incredibly easy to work with, and it was a smooth trannsaction, with Bud's keeping me posted along every step. The rifle was delivered to my local FFL exactly as described. I can promise you that this will not be my last purchase from Bud's.
