The bolt-action American rifle is the latest engineering innovation from Ruger, America's leading firearms manufacturer. The American Rifle features an integral bedding block system, the Ruger Marksman Adjustable trigger, (adjustable between 3 and 5 pounds), and an ergonomic, lightweight stock designed for quick and easy handling. Sub-MOA accuracy. Smooth fully adjustable trigger. Multiple aluminum bed lug points. Floating bbl. Heavy short-throw bolt. I had confidence in the value when I placed the order. The functional value of this rifle exceeds my expectations . . . I'm impressed.

I love these Ruger American Rifles. I can't stress that enough. I'm not sure how Bud is able to sell them as cheap as he does but they are worth every penny. Easy to navigate online buying and pretty prompt free shipping is hard to beat as well. Not to mention the lifetime warranty option that comes with your purchase. I am and will continue to be a repeat shopper.

Ordered this rifle from Buds because they always have great prices and great service. Very nice rifle and very accurate for the money. Some have negative reviews on the magazine, but mine works great. This is my first Ruger firearm and I'm very happy with it. It's made in America and that's very important to me concidering how the political climate is nowadays. I have a Mossberg Patriot and a Savage Axis and I like the bolt action on this rifle the best. I think almost everyone would be happy with this rifle and Bud's.

I bought this rifle a while ago but never wrote a review. With my hand loads using soft point hunting bullets, I was able to get 9/16 of an inch groups at 100 yards. And with Sierra matchking bullets and zero load development, it grouped under 1/2". It even put 3 of four shots in a 2.25" group at 400 yards. The stock is comfortable and very lightweight for hiking around hunting. Which also makes it not a lot of fun the shoot a bunch at the range. But for a hunting rifle, this thing is perfect.

I don't think you can beat the Ruger American 30-06 for the price. It's a good solid, smooth action firearm that Ruger is noted for. So far, I haven't had any problems with the ammo clip that other owners have had, but I only ran a few rounds through it, so we'll see. As usual, Buds provided great service, which is well appreciated.

Bought this Ruger American 30-06 for my oldest son. It's lite, shoots well and he love's it. Many years of Hunting ahead. Put a 3x9-40 Nikon Scope on as well.
