Very good quality CCW. I would like to have with green laser but not willing to spend the money to purchase the CT green laser grips and decided to carry my full size Colt 1911 as my everyday CCW.

All was good with my purchase, the weapon arrived with no problems and it was in perfect condition! The only was the time it took to finally receive my weapon, today I picked it up and it was a total of 10 days from the day I ordered it! Lucky I have a Concealed Weapons License otherwise I would have to wait 3 days in order to take possession of the weapon! If you could cut down your processing time to a maximum of 3 days that would be good!

Great job Buds. Fast shipping and a great overall experience. I felt like a kid at Christmas when opening the Colt box and seeing this wonderful weapon in it. This 1911 fits perfectly in my hand for an Ultra compact design. After cleaning and checking for overall safety I put a few hundred rounds down range without one single issue. The trench sites take some time to get used to and especially when you have some bad eyes like I do, but the Crimson Trace helped hit targets 25 yds fairly easy. I also let my son who is 13 fire a few magazines and he was really accurate with the CR and he handled the recoil easily. I have been carrying this weapon everyday iwb in the small of my back and it fits perfectly and is very comfortable. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a compact 1911 for every day carry.

This pistol is all business. I picked it up went straight into Buds range and put 200 rounds through it with precision. No failures, no feed problems. The Crimson Trace was dead on set from the factory. I didn't have to make any adjustments. It shoots nice, it looks mean and is very accurate even with the trench sights. The trigger is perfect for me. Solid pistol highly recommended

Overall the gun is great. Fit & finish are exactly what you would expect from Colt. Ergonomics are good and the laser grip works remarkably well even in fast gripping situations. Accuracy is also fairly good considering barrel length and sight configuration. My only real beef with this gun is that it tends to send spent casings directly back at my face. So much so that I found myself ducking at the range to avoid the hot casings. Some adjustments will need to be done to avoid forehead and cheek branding. In the end it's a great buy and an excellent carry weapon.

First off the service from buds is always exceptional. Second this is one awesome little shooter. Took it to the range several weeks ago and all I can say is wow. Good groupings at 25 feet. The only complaint I have about the gun is the grip and thumb safety. After putting150 rounds through it the gun gave me a blister where the grip safety digs into my hand. I like to put my right thumb on the thumb safety. It's a little hard to do that because it is kind of small. Needless to say I had both the grip safety and the thumb safety replaced by my local gunsmith. I bought those from Ed Brown. The gun is much more comfortable to grip and shoot now. No more blisters now. Once again great service from Buds. I will definitely be purchasing my next fire arm from them.

Great gun dropped a Wilson combat extended beavertail in the colt cause I like a high grip on the gun and the colt safety would give me a blister when shooting a hundred rounds or so. But now the gun is perfect !

I purchased this model from Buds last month. Excellent sale and service. Shipped quick to my FFL range without a hitch. Small surface blemishes on pistol. Consistently shoots close pattern groups up to 50 feet with Georgia Arms reloads 230 grain FMJ; no FTE issues at all. The ramp sites took a bit to get used to at first but after a couple clips it was consistently hitting 1 inch groups at 25 feet. The crimson laser grips help make this a night time grab and shoot self defense weapon system. The full grip makes it easy to handle. My buddies at the range can't stop begging for a turn.
