I love the caliber this rifle is chambered in, .300 Holland & Holland Magnum. The rife, a Browning X-Bolt Medallion, is beautiful and functions very well. Now if I could just find a solid steel bottom metal frame and trigger guard for it I'd be a very happy hunter. The synthetic polymer rotary magazine is very strong and reliable! Bud's as always is great to deal with!

Don't like the alloy (aluminum) trigger guard/bottom metal on this rifle, but what are you going to do these days? The magazine on the Browning X-Bolt is excellent and made of a thick polymer that should last a long time, if you don't lose it. Nice wood (walnut) and good stock design. Like the iron sights with this model, good back-up. Very smooth bolt-action with solid lock-up and a sweet trigger. The shotgun style thumb safety works well and is plastic, of course. I do like this rifle very much despite the stated objections. I'm a fan of blued steel and straight grained walnut, but realize times change and products do too. Thus I believe this rifle to be a very good value and a solid hunting weapon.

It is a Browning so I knew it would be good. However, I did not expect it to be THAT nice. I have always loved the H&H calibers too (I have two 375 H&H rifles now) so I was very happy to see Browning still clambering that grand old round! Additionally, the Bud's transaction was perfect and shipping lightning fast. I had it in my hands in 3 days. This is my 6th transaction with Bud's and will not be the last. Thanks!!
