Browning's X-Bolt Stalker Long Range rifle has a Matte finish threaded barrel that is free-floating, hand chambered, with a target crown muzzle, and includes a muzzle break and thread protector cap. This rifle features a bolt unlock button that allows you to have the safety in the on position while the bolt is open. Included is a Inflex recoil pad and a installed sling swivel stud.

I have this same rifle in 270 and 30-06. All are sub moa with a variety of ammo. This one was dropping Winchester pps under an inch during sighting in. Recoil very manageable. If you want an accurate all weather all business rifle this is it.

Great price, a little confusing as to when the rifle would be shipped and not being able to talk to someone, the chat thing was not very informative. However I still rate them as very good as it was a great price and delivered as promised and to the correct FFl. This was a Browning 26" Stalker 300 Win Mag. Problem unrelated to Budsgunshop the magazine would not work tried many different rounds. I could not test it at the FFL because they did not allow live ammo....Had to send it back to Browning still waiting on return.

The rifle came on time, and it shoots sub moa with the first hand loads I tried. 180gr nosler BT over 80gr of H1000.

100% satisfied with both Buds Gun Shop and the browning xbolt stalker long range in 300 win mag. I wanted a do it all rifle as far as big game is concerned. This gun has a heavier contoured sporter barrel but is still light enough to lug around in the woods. I was able to get MOA groupings out of this gun right out of the box. I can shoot this rifle all day with no problems while using the muzzle break. Gun is an excellent shooter. Will stretch it out to 400 and 600 yards and follow up. Thank you browning. Thank you Buds

Great gun my one complaint is that the magazine does not want to feed every time, the rounds just don't pop up into place however that being said I only put one box through it so far and it could be my fault this is my first gun with a rotary style magazine, also have only tired one brand of ammo to sight it in. I'm sure over time it will wear in. Rounds fit very tight in the magazine. I love this thing, the quality is outstanding, I spent hours at the biggest gun store around and I cycled the action and tried triggers on every brand of gun in .300 win mag some of them with amazing reputations and much higher price tags. Bar nothing the Browning X-bolt is the smoothest cycling action and best out of the box trigger on the market in my opinion. Saw some reviews online about failures to eject spent shells I have had no problems at all. The duratouch coating is a perfect blend of Grip and hardness. The X lock scope rings are possibly the most solid mounting system on the market for a scope. I expected Felt recoil to be harsh however the muzzle brake apparently does a great job even though this rifle is what I would call light for the caliber I would say its close to my 30-30 and with out a doubt less than an un-braked 30-06. If you are looking for the best bolt action rifle in any caliber I would recommend the X-bolt. I can't exactly attest to the accuracy because frankly I have a lot to learn about long range shooting, this gun is far more accurate than I am and after one box and one brand of ammo I cant fairly judge except to say I need a lot of work.

Okay, so to start off with, Buds dropped the ball on me, they took 10 business days to get the shipment out their door. Wouldn't be a big deal, but 2 of the last 3 guns I have purchased from them, this has happened to me. I had to call and put in letters to them to get them moving it. They take my money up front, they should stick to their end of the deal and get my gun out the door on time. They get 2 stars for that. Now the good, this rifle is flat out accurate. I adjusted the trigger down to 3lbs and torqued the action bolts to 40 inlbs upon arrival. Took it to the range with browning 155 gr bullets, and winchester xp 150's and federal fusion 150 soft points. All 3 of these rounds were putting 1/2" 3 shot outside to outside groups at 100 yards on my first trip to the range. No break-in shooting off of bags, just sighted them in and started shooting groups. The groups were repeatable for 3 3 shot groups per box. Zeroed it in for the 155 browning ballistic tiped bullets, and will be heading to the hunting lease next weekend. If you are looking for a great 300 win, this IS your rifle, I couldn't believe the accuracy of this rifle, I love it.
