All around great weapon! I was initially attracted to the appearance of it. After looking into several positive reviews I was able to justify the price and purchased it. Once it came in and I was able to see it in person and shoot it at the range, I wasn’t disappointed. Yes it’s expensive, but you get what you pay for and I’d strongly recommend it for anyone looking for a badass revolver!

S&W 686 Competitor. This is one of the best guns I own as far as quality and enjoyment are concerned. The fit and finish of the components is outstanding. All parts are of the highest quality and the gun is extremely accurate. It is heavy enough to reduce recoil yet light enough to avoid fatigue when shooting for long hours. Extremely versatile revolver that could be used for competition, protection, or even hunting. Be prepared to have a hard time finding holsters that fit the thick barrel profile. One of my all-time favorite gun purchases. Highly recommend.

As always I have received great service from Buds Gun Shop however, WOW now to comment about the the gun. What a disappointment the trigger was not smooth the adjustable sights would not adjust!!! Hard to believe this gun came from the performance center too. I called and sent it back. After 3 weeks I received the gun back and the trigger isn't any better and they did not fix the sights. It is now at a private gun shop being repaired since the performance center couldn't handle it.
