Rossi shotguns use the timeless single shot, break open breech design updated with the most modern safety features. These shotguns include a spur hammer, transfer bar safety action and an integral linkage system that prevents the action from opening or closing when the hammer is cocked. Rossi shotguns are available in 12 and 20 gauge models, weighing just over 5 lbs, and a 4 lbs .410 bore, all accepting either 2 3/4" or 3" shells - Standard or Magnum. The .410 and the 20 gauge are offered in even lighter youth models scaled down to fit young shooters.

Gun came quickly and in great shape. However, The gun will not shoot slugs. Do not buy if you are looking to shoot slugs.

Very impressed with how tight this locks up and how smooth the trigger pull is. Like most single shots this is a very simple design configuration. Very easy to clean and very reliable. The shell ejector is extremely powerful which means less worry about stuck shells, but highly recommend caution that they don't come straight back into the shooters face. Make sure to wear safety glasses and point the breech of the barrel away from you when ejecting a spent shell. They can launch out 6 or 7 feet. The gun was covered in very sticky substance when unboxing it. I recommend a thorough cleaning before using it. Handled shot and slug loads without any issues. Always a good plinker if you can't find any 22lr ammo.

Decent first shotgun, my son loves it, only complaint is the picture shows it has rifled sights and mine came with just a bead front sight
