This is a sweet little pistol. In your hand it feels like a full size 1911. It is a great trainer. Fit and finish was excellent. I haven't had a failure to feed, failure to fire, or failure to eject. It has cycled with every load I have tried in it. Trigger was a little gritty at first, but has smoothed out nicely with use. I did change out the grips. I prefer the Hogue wrap around grips on my 1911 style pistols. Grab one of these when you can. You won't regret it. Dealing with Bud's was great as usual. Accuracy is very good with all loads.

Works as advertised. Shoots great. Got the usual quick service from Buds. If your interested in a 45 clone of the Gold Cup this will do.

Quality 1911 A1 in 22lr. I personally have shot this pistol with 1000's of rounds with no malfunctions of any kind. My grandson and daughter loved it at a range day. So I bought Jayden one for his graduation. He has a few more years till 21. If you can afford one and can get it, Get it! Thank you buds for a square deal and hassle free transaction as usual.

Great gun but only comes with one mag. Extra mags at about $40 each. Also seems to only like the high velocity CCI. The standard velocity stuff has a FTF about every 5 rounds.

Looks and feels like a 45 1911.. Trigger pull is acceptable for this price range,,, a little heavy but smooth and no sloppy movement. Having an issue with the safety and the pin that holds it. When I engage the safety it goes up and lets the little pin slide underneath it and the safety will not come down without depressing the pin with a knife.. I like the gun and I will continue playing with the safety issue.

Decent for the price. Not 100% what I expected, due to the solid attached barrel construction, but I don't see that interfering with it's operation.
The barrel comes threaded with an M8x.75 thread and a thread protector. There are numerous adapters online, that are inexpensive, if you want to add 'something' to the front.
Getting the thread protector off was challenging, to say the least. It's got 10mm slots and the wrench that comes with it wasn't strong enough to unscrew it. Walther, sent me a new, sturdier wrench for free, but I couldn't wait, and ground down a cheap 10mm wrench I had in my tool box and removed it before the new wrench arrived.
I really appreciated the Target Sights.
The magazine (you only get one) has a thumb loader, but it felt kind of rough. I bought another aftermarket mag for it and it was the same way. A quick disassemble of the mag, some light smoothing of the stamped slide slot made it much better. Spare mags are sort of pricey for being a .22LR.
I give it 4 out of 5 stars, because of the mag (1 instead of 2), how 'gritty' the mags felt, the trouble with the thread protector, and the swaged barrel, instead of removable, like a real 1911.
All in all.....a good gun at a very reasonable price. Good Value. And the frame fits all my 'real' 1911 holsters perfectly.

This pistol is an absolute joy to shoot. I’ve put 500 rounds through this pistol thus far, no jams or any other issues. As with my other 22lr pistols I use CCI Mini Mag ammunition. Remington golden bullet is good too. I’ve found regardless of the 22 pistol, the bargain ammunition fouls the barrel much worse. I highly recommend this Walther Colt tribute gun. Also as a note, it’s made in Germany.

A:Craig, the barrel features a threaded muzzle Sir. I would recommend the SilencerCo Sparrow 22 (just scroll down) with the M8x.75 to 1/2-28 thread adapter -- https://www.silencershop.com/gsg-1911-22-adapter-silencerco.html -

A:From what I'm reading this handles standard velocity ammo just fine. People were saying with low velocity ammo or subsonic ammo they had occasional feeding issues but not with standard to high velocity ammo. If for some reason it won't feed properly they make upgraded recoil springs for lower velocity ammo for this pistol. Hope this helps.See 2 more answers | -

A:Ryan, Not unless you use dovetail mount to replace rear sight with red dot mounting plate or get a machined slide with red dot mount cut out.
