The SureFire M500A Rifle Forend WeaponLight replaces the original handguard of an M4 or similar carbine, and its 9-volt shock-isolated incandescent lamp and 1.62" reflector are well-suited for close-to-medium-range applications. Two incandescent lamp assemblies are included, each requiring three 123A 3V lithium batteries: the MN10 lamp assembly provides a 125-lumen output for one hour, and the MN11 lamp assembly provides a 225-lumen output for 20 minutes. Three primary beam switches are integrated into the forend: a constant-on rocker switch, a momentary-on pressure pad switch, and a system-disable rotary switch that locks all lights in the OFF position to prevent accidental activation during covert operations, transportation, or storage. Two low-output LED navigation lights are operated by a small momentary-on pressure pad switch on the left side. The M500A WeaponLight is proven in combat and used by military and law enforcement around the world.
