This is one of those guns that are a little gem. Ultra light, works great, quick to the shoulder when hunting doves and a nice trigger.

it's a weatherby but made in turkey by the same group that makes tri star,mossberg, cz etc. after comparing them all, the weatherby had much nicer wood and finish etc. and buds had a super great sale on the weatherby, can't go wrong!

I purchased the weatherby sa-08 in 28 gauge from buds which they shipped quickly. The quality, fit and function is very high. I would compare to a $1000. Rifle. I have completely disassembled it and find the parts of high quality. I have since gave this shotgun to my wife and have purchased another for myself. Thanks to buds and crew

This is a good looking gun. It looks much better than the picture. Nice wood and the receiver and barrel are blued instead of just black coated like on the non-deluxe models. Everyone's wife would love to have this gun.

A beautiful, light, well balanced gun with excellent fit and finish and truly gorgeous wood. It has cycled hundreds of rounds of 3/4 to 1 ounce loads without a single misfire. An incredible value for a quality 28 gauge shotgun. The only criticism I have is the plastic trigger guard and every manufacturer seems to be going that route and It has proven to be stronger, so I guess I need to get over that. I love this gun and I own a lot of them.

Hello, I'm 64 years old and never fired a 28ga.shotgun until his week. I'm a old school small game hunter. I've used 12ga,20g, 410 and 22's But mostly my old 410 my grandpa gave me. Have had a lot of fun hunting squirrels and rabbits. Eye sight is getting a little weak so I decided to try my first 28g shotgun. I need a few more BB's. Not to much kick. I decided to buy this Weatherby SA-08" 28ga because every article I've read say's its a good one. I can't compare it to anything else. because I've never owned a 28ga. It"s the nicest fit and finish, great wood and close to 5-1/2 lbs. shot gun. It's easy to carry. It shoots smooth straight, hardly any kick at all. It's nice to look at This will probably be my best and last shot gun. It's way fun to shoot. Shells are a little expensive but not as bad as the 410 shells. I don't shoot clay's so I don't use many shells. If your thinking about a small gauge shot gun, Try this one. Buds had the best price I could find. This is my third fire arm from bud's and all have been good and the free shipping sure helps .Thanks Bud's
