The service from Bud's was great as usual. I ordered on a Saturday afternoon and picked up the gun at my FFL on Wednesday. 5 stars for that. As for the Sig, not so great. The listing didn't show an actual Sig product number, just a UPC. From looking up the UPC, the reviews were for a railed frame version with rosewood grips or a railed frame version with an extended beavertail and skeletonized trigger with fiber optic front sight. So I took the gamble and ordered it. I received a non-railed frame version with legacy slide. OK, not so bad. The listing did say three 15 round magazines and I received two magazines. I e-mailed Bud's but got the generic reply of we do not look at the items we sell, you get what you get and don't get upset. The gun has a mfg date of Jan 2020 and came in the new Sig box. The gun, two magazines, chamber flag and manual. No lock, oil sample or sticker. The night sights look brand new, but the inside of the slide has wear and the gun in general looks like it is one of the Sig CPO's that they throw together from extra slides and frames in inventory. I am a big Sig guy but was disappointed with this one. I shot it for the first time yesterday and it's a usual Sig, dead-on accuruate. It's a keeper for now but I guess I was just expecting what everyone was getting.

I love this gun! The rosewood grips really compliment the looks of this firearm. The stock photo doesn't do justice. The double action trigger pull is very smooth, but stereotypically a little heavy. This double action trigger pull will lighten up the more I shoot it The single action trigger pull and reset is perfect. It's everything a Sig should be. The night sights were bright, and I have no intentions of changing them. This is a very beautifully crafted firearm. My pistol was "born" on 6/12/2013. Also note, I received one (1) 15-round magazine with my gun. This made me VERY happy because I was going to purchase this magazine for it anyways. Sig also includes a form with the pistol so you can receive an additional free magazine. You just need to provide proof of purchase and mail in the form.

I have bought many guns from Buds and the experience is always goo. I used their layaway to hold the gun for me until I cam home from Afghanistan. Great gun, great price and another hassle free experience with Buds. I took it to the range and we put about 500 rounds through it with 3 different makes/types of ammo, no malfunctions of any kind. It shoots where you point it, my son and grandsons were dropping plates and clearing the Texas star with no problem. I would highly recommend this gun to anybody interested in a quality 9mm.

Hello, I own many pistols like; CZ, Kimber, HK, and so on. When i picked up the gun i noticed two stand out features. One it came with a 15rd mag and not a 10rd mag. This makes me HAPPY! The other feature which is the rosewood grips make the gun look super nice. I mean a Sig has a very tactical and utility look to it but with the grips its a whole another gun. Also the price, local dealers including the big chains want $900 to $1200 for a Sig 229 in my area. This is an awesome deal. The gun's performance was also impressive, i shot excellent tight groups at 35 and 50ft using Speer Lawman ammo. When you compare a $500 gun to this gun i would seriously think about a Sig. The only downfall is the gun is thick and you need the right holster for CCW. Thank you Buds for the great deal.
