Not surprisingly, Beretta is once again leading the way in the evolution of the Modern Sporting Rifle with the introduction of the ARX100. The innovative design is based on the select-fire ARX160, a battle-proven rifle platform which has earned its stripes in combat service with both the Italian army and Special Forces. This is a multi-caliber rifle which allows for tool-free barrel/caliber changes in a matter of seconds. It also comes standard with a folding stock, multiple Picatinny rails, 3 separate magazine releases, and 6 attachment points for the Condor tactical sling. The ARX100 also takes the concept of a totally ambidextrous rifle to a new level. Naturally the magazine release(s), selector lever, and safeties are all ambi, you'd expect that. But this platform also allows the operator to easily switch both the charging handle and ejection port from right to left. The ARX100 is also designed for ease of maintenance, breaking down into its four primary components without the need for any tools whatsoever. Simplicity, flexibility, reliability. The ARX100 is the next step in modern rifle design.

This is the first rifle I’ve purchased and I fee I made a great choice with this one! Fully ambidextrous, brilliantly designed, and very comfortable to shoot. I did opt to purchase a cheek riser which helps me with a better cheek weld, the original stock is a little small but helps to be compact when folded. Not too bad to shoot folded either. Well balanced . Also the charging handle is obnoxiously small but Baretta has an extension which is perfect.

What can I say about this gun? It is unique in every way and it’s a very sweet shooting rifle. I have never seen any other AR style rifle with all of the features built into this one. For the price Bud’s has it listed for, its a steal. I am absolutely amazed at the quality and engineering of this weapon. From the mag releases, to the removable barrel, to the East at which it field strips... I could go on and on. \r\n\r\nAs far as shooting this gun - let me put it to you this way... I put it into the hands of my 14 year old granddaughter who has never shot before. She was hitting bulls eyes like she was a professional shooter. It was very easy for her to handle and stay on target. She complained that she was being hot in the face with the ejected shells - but in less than 2 seconds I converted it to eject the shells on the other side. Absolutely amazing. \r\n\r\nI’ve now put several hundred rounds through without a single issue. I highly recommend this gun for anyone interested in 223/5.56. And I’m looking forward to finding the 300 blackout barrel!

Initially I was happy with the accuracy and recoil. Then a malfunction. Failure to eject. Striped the mag, raked and sling shot the bolt handle, fired just in case it was a dud. Malfunction couldn\\\\\\\'t be fixed!!! Bolt was stuck and no amount of force could move it back to eject the casing. Making the rifle completely inoperable. Sent back to Beretta. After a second call to try and get a hint how to fix problem and trying to get them to pay for shipment as the gun was a day old; they agreed to have UPS to pick it up for free. Another battle with UPS. Bunch of inept lazy drivers. Finally after many calls, long waits, 4 days of no results and speaking to a manager, the gun is on its way to Beretta. \\r\\nLuckily it was not a gun fight as I may not had survived to tell the story!\\r\\nOptions are mentioned in the web but no once supplier of parts has picture or a mention of availability.\\r\\nI may report more later.

What can I say... It\\\\\\\'s a quirky gun. Most everything you read/hear online about it is true, and I wish to no end that Beretta would pull their heads out and update this gun. It could easily be amazing. Some perspective, I believe it was developed and released early to mid 2000\\\\\\\'s, so a lot has standardized since.\\r\\n\\r\\nThe stock is short and shaped lower, you need a lower optic mount than \\\\\\\'absolute cowitness (AR15), and the irons are quirky and higher than standard AR sights, even though they should be a little shorter than AR sights instead. I have long arms, so not only does the stock give me shorter than optimal length of pull, but the forend is also shorter. Ironically the answer is likely a vertical grip, preferably a short one. The AFG didn\\\\\\\'t seem easy enough to get a good, stable hold back onto, repeatedly, whereas a short vertical grip lets you grab towards the end of the forend, and then pull against something with the bottom of your hand.\\r\\n\\r\\nThe trigger is heavy. The fire selector is even heavier. The only after market trigger is $300, and sounds like you need to file down the selector\\\\\\\'s detent to lessen that.\\r\\n\\r\\nHow it actually shoots has been it\\\\\\\'s winning side. A quick, single push for recoil, which is mild and just pleasant somehow. The brass goes out to the 1-2 o\\\\\\\'clock, which is nice for others.\\r\\n\\r\\nThe included sling is iffy, and the sling attachment points suck. Need to work around the attachment points, since they won\\\\\\\'t easily fit other slings besides the included one.\\r\\n\\r\\nThis gun is in dire need of modernization; and though I\\\\\\\'d love to work it in to a fighting system, it\\\\\\\'s just too much of a struggle. I feel bad for the Italian military.\\r\\n\\r\\nI do like this gun, to a point. I haven\\\\\\\'t had any foreign modern guns in years now, so this is very fun for me. It can\\\\\\\'t replace my AR\\\\\\\'s by a long shot, but is a quality made, AR18-patterned modern service rifle, made by an experienced manufacturer. It has quality, all the service rifle high points, and history. Due to the lack of modernization, the price is right. ;)

The ARX100 has fully ambidextrous controls that are easy and intuitive to use, is as ergonomic a gun as you will find and so far has been 100% reliable. This is the second ARX100 I have owned and I have well over 1000 rounds through it and have not had a malfunction that was not due to a magazine issue. Most importantly the rifle is absolutely fun to shoot and if you \\\"run a gun\\\" it is light, fast, accurate and recoil management is a dream. This is not a sub 1 MOA gun, it is an assault rifle, but it will shoot 1 1/2-2 MOA all day long with military ball, perhaps a little better if you buy some match ammo. The length of pull on the folding stock is short, as with many new rifles in the category, but it was designed to fit a soldier wearing a plate carrier and load bearing equipment. You can\\\'t beat Bud\\\'s price on this rifle, get one while they are still available!! As always, please support the NRA to protect our rights to buy and own these great guns!

Well made, rock solid rifle. Excellent balance, handles well. Ran 300 rounds through it calibrating the EO Tech STS that I put on there. Federal ammo. Stuff I use all the time on my other rifles. Not one jam. Amazing value - they provide you with a great carry bag and two 30 round metal magazines. Highly recommend.

Super cool rifle. Light and compact for deer hunting from my Summit tree stand. The pop up sights are extremely accurate and the gun cycles flawlessly as quickly as you can pull the trigger. I love it and highly recommend it, especially at the Bud’s great price.

To the point first it is a clever firearm by design, however I would like to see some improvements on the but stuck by having a rubber insert in it so it will not slip off your shoulder. Second if you have big hands and fingers you will found it difficult to press in the release to remove the lower from the upper receiver. Third Berretta sale and advertise this as a multiple caliber firearm yet do not sale or ever sold other caliber barrel, and last the flip up sights will deploy by pressing on the release but will not lock down automatically you have to press in the release to lock it down. Now the good and the most important the gun function flowless and is a pleasure to shoot it.

I bought this Beretta ARX100 from Buds because they are just simply great to deal with, and have outstanding support, plus they continually have some of the best pricing and were offering a special on this firearm. I have been reviewing this gun for a couple years and based on youtube reviews it must be one of the most reliable and battle ready rifles on the market. I\\\\\\\'ve seen it Frozen (pouring water into it at 20 below zero F), and dirt shoveled into it, and it just keeps firing. It comes with a soft case and steel AR type mag. Everything on this rifle is Ambidextrous , plus the gun doesn\\\\\\\'t need much lube, and the barrel can be changed in seconds..... The only complaint I have (with the rifle I recieved) is that the trigger is way less than desirable. It has a hard resistance on take up. Once that resistance breaks you have about 1/4 inch of movement with no resistance... (this is bad) to meet the final break which is somewhat heavy. I am having trouble adjusting to this as when I fire, sometimes overcoming the the first resistance causes a very quick take up and subsequent firing of the rifle. I have never experienced any trigger like this before. \\r\\nSo I guess I must take it up with Beretta and see if they have a solution. Because as it, this trigger makes this gun one of my least favorite to grab and carry in the event of an apocalypse.\\r\\n\\r\\n

Hi Thom, Buds uses an automatic inventory price update engine that runs every 20mins. Prices are tied directly to stock levels and will change as stock numbers change. As inventory numbers go down, prices go up and vice-versa. Usually when popular items get low in stock.

Sam, here's the link where you can read for yourself it's a chrome lined barrel, http://www.beretta.com/en-us/arx-100/ Just my opinion, but the best part of the barrel is that it's cold hammer forged giving it a longer life and accuracy. This is the semi version of the rifle used by the Italian military. The chrome lining will be excellent with Beretta quality. Hope this helps you.

The barrel is actually "Stamped" 5.56Nato Charles so it will fire 5.56 and 223 no problem.
