Great pistol. I've owned a P229 along with the P239 but I carry the P239 far more. In fact, I've added a 357Sig barrel and it is an ideal, powerful, and reliable CCW for everyday use. The P229 is a fine pistol but the P239 gives me more options. The outstanding Hogue piranha grips compliments the FDE finish and feels far superior to the standard Sig grips. Along with my P226 as a more tactical pistol, the P229 is left as the odd man out.
