Overall, I really like this rifle. My only nit-pick is that the bolt isn't polished smooth, but instead has micro "grooves" in the surface of the metal. Working the action reminds me of opening/closing a zipper. But for the price, it's a good rifle.

Trigger is excellent. Scope bases are included and came preinstalled. The bolt is finicky to lock closed on a round. Finish and machining is more than acceptable, but less than pristine. My only disappointment is the stock fore end is out of spec and makes considerable contact with the barrel, nulling it's free-float feature which is one of the reasons I picked it. Ruger would likely correct this or it will take some filing on my part. I've put several loads through it from bulk 55gr to 73gr match and it all performs as expected. The plastic magazine feels cheap in the hand, but performed flawlessly. It's a good rifle for the money, and glad I picked it. Those will higher budgets to spend on a more premium fit and finish should probably still do that.
