This is a awesome hunting rifle. The caliber is fantastic, rifle is lightweight, but since it's lightweight there is more kick. Took a few shots to get it on target with the scope it comes with. Once on target and after a few adjustments, wow. Ruger knew what they were doing with the is one. Biggest issue is you might need a check pad. I wish it came with at least another magazine. The rifle shot flawless, smooth trigger. Out the box the rifle was clean and impressive. The 3 lug blot is a great feature. If your looking for a great bolt action under 600 this is something to consider.
