Smoothest 1911 shooter that I have ever owned. I was considering a S&W Tactical, a Kimber Raptor and a Ruger and the look of this 1911 and the price at Bud's made the decision for me. I have had this pistol to the range about 6 times now and went to a tactical practice shoot twice and the firearm performed perfectly. No eject issues, no feeding issues and I am achieving a tighter pattern than with my Para Black Ops or my S&W MP45. Tried a couple sessions with Chip McCormick 10 round power mags and they feed and eject perfectly.

A new 1911 for the collection and from Sig Sauer. The handgun was in excellent condition and I believe it was hand-fit since it was tight but slides very easily. It took a minute to put back together after field strip to clear some areas with CLP. The slide stop/ barrel bushing were the challenge of course as it worked on tight. The trigger however was crisp and light similar to a Colt 70 series. The FDE design does not damage easily. I chose this over 2 guns which one I changed out during the order (was the FDE FN 5.7) the other was the Colt Marine 1911A1. The customer service rep helped out to exchange product w/ 10% restock fee. Both Buds and the Customer Service rep was excellent.

This is my first 1911 and I was unsure which kind to get because you hear a lot of stories about some brands not being very reliable. I have a bunch of other SIG guns and they have been 100% for me for thousands of rounds so I decided to try a SIG 1911 and I am so glad I did. I have put several hundred rounds through this gun in a short time and not a single issue. All the great things you hear about 1911's are evident in spades with the Emperor Scorpion and what a beauty too! The pictures do not do the finish justice IMO, it's much nicer looking in real life.

This gun is awesome! It makes me look much better than I really am! I am a slightly better than average shooter, but I couldn't miss with this. First shot was dead center of the target from 12 yards. Then 15, 20, and 25 were all on the mark. And the gun is beautiful. A darker finish than what the picture shows. Actually nicer in person. The grips were okay that came with it, but I always change out grips for personal preference. I put Stoner CNC Camo Tactical Eclipse grips on, and it is absolutely gorgeous in addition to the accuracy. A perfect 10! Well, 5 since that is all I can give. And very fast service from Buds. Always a great experience with them. My FFL had the Sig within 3 days of ordering.
