The Windham Weaponry 308 Hunter rifle comes with an 18" medium profile barrel made of 4150M chrome moly vanadium 11595E steel, chrome-lined, with an A2 flash suppressor and a hardwood laminate stock with a nutmeg brown or pepper gray finish. The receiver is forged from 7075 T6 aircraft aluminum with an integral trigger guard and has a color-coordinating finish of hardcoat coyote brown anodized or electrloess nickel (Mil-C-26074E). The 308 Hunter has a manual lever safety with markings on both sides of the receiver, an A4-style optic ready flat top upper receiver, Mil-Std 1913 railed gas block, and a Hogue overmolded pistol grip. This rifle comes in a hard plastic gun case with black web sling, and a QD sling swivel.

Wow, Love this rifle, I was looking for something a little different, tired of everything in the AR10 platform looking the same. I saw this rifle and had to get it, I have put about 250 rounds down range, this gun can shoot. Zero FTF, FTE, this rifle is comfortable, accurate and looks awesome, I have had more people stop by my lane and ask to see it, plain and simple, this thing is sexy a topped with Hawke optics 8-24 x 56. I will definatly get another Windhams rifle soon, the wood is nice, the action is smooth, trigger has a little take-up with a cleaan break. I also wanted to mention the color combo is really nice. If get a chance read the story on how Windham Weapondry came about, the owner is the founder of Bushmaster, he sold Bushmaster, the company that bought it after four plus years moved the factory and left the employees high and dry. The old founder decided to buy the old factory back and put all his old employees back to work with Windham, but decided to do things a little different, higher quality. Buds did awesome as well.

I wanted a Ar but am tired of the Ar type looking ( just for hunting lol) this 308 is a Tac driverZ I installed a Sig tango Scope and I can’t wait to nail my first boar or buck with it. It is crisp and the salt and pepper furniture gives it a great feel and look of a hunting rifle
