I love it! Absolutely beautiful! My only complaint is there seemed to be some sort of defect with the factory recoil spring. It was binding on the guide rod and having intermittent stoppages. I replaced it with a Wilson Combat 16 pound spring and it has been 100% reliable since with all kinds of ammunition. I’m very happy with this pistol. Highly recommend!

i recently bought a colt 1911 gold cup match .45 acp from buds guns.couldnt be more satisfied with this pistol .it hits everything you aim at right out of the box with no sight adjustment.i own one other colt 1911 in 9mm that was my favorite ,but this gold cup .45 is really the pick of the litter.buds guns once again came thru with price,customer service and speedy delievery.

I always thought about a 1911. I looked at every manufacturer and decided on buying the real deal. A Colt Gold Cup National Match. It was accurate as all get out right out of the box. Then my hits started veering off left until I could find the front post. The reason I couldn’t find was it wasn’t there! It flew off into the grass. Apparently it’s been an issue. Rather than jury rig a new sight I shipped it back to Colt. It’s been 14 days in to a 45 day turnaround. Needless to say I’m very disappointed but the gun is a thing to behold. I would’ve given 5 stars but for the aggravation.

Very nice 1911, fit and finish were perfect. Very accurate. The only issue was the 5-1/2 lb trigger pull. That was easily remedied. Overall very happy with Bud's and my new pistol.

This is the nicest Colt I own. Quick purchase from buds and more than good. This gun is accurate and you can feel the extra tooling used. I'm looking forward to buying another in .38. In all my years of shooting and seeing this gun in competition, I glad to finally get one. If you do get one, you won't be sorry.

I ordered one of the Colt Gold Cup NTL MTC from Buds on 10/28/22 and it arrived at my local FFL dealer 11/1/22. Buds emailed tracking numbers so I could watch the shipping process. This gun was in perfect condition when it arrived, no problems whatsoever. I have confidence in Buds and would buy from them again. The Gold Cup is spectacular! I took it to the range the day after I received it. This is a well engineered and executed piece. I’m very happy with it and would recommend this 1911 to anyone. I give it 5 stars!
