Very happy with this gun was looking for a new lighter compact rifle and this one is perfect had to work a little bit to find the right grain shell ended up at 150 grain . Works perfect.

The transaction between Buds and myself was smooth and exactly as indicated. I was impressed at how easy things went. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. If you read and follow the directions provided your purchase will be easy. I give Buds a Very Good Rating on there service. I had the gun sent to Dead Eye Gun Shop, at Sparta Missouri. They were Very nice and professional and I give them a Very Good rating. When I examined the Model 7 Remington rifle I saw no damage except that the floor plate did not fit smoothly. When I got home I noticed that the adjustment screw for the trigger was set at about 6 pounds and protruded beyond the trigger. I tried to adjust it with the allen wrench provided; and per instructions in the owners manual. I could not adjust the trigger pull below 5 pounds and the screw still protruded well beyond the edge of the trigger where it would catch your finger or a glove. Rather than sending the whole gun back to the manufacturer I will try to get a local gunsmith to try to fix the trigger or replace it. I think Remington is a good company. They sure could have done better work on the floor plate and if this is the way the trigger is supposed to be it is Very inferior to other brands.

My Remington Model 7 CDL 308 arrived on time and in great condition. I loaned my other one to a friend with a shoulder problem and finally gave it to him because the small size and weight allowed him to hunt comfortably. I have wanted another one for several years.
