I read a few bad reviews about this gun and also watched a couple youtube vids trashing this 30-06. This was AFTER I bought the gun. Let me just say that the gun I purchased is awesome. Everything about this inexpensive firearm is great. Most importantly, it is very accurate. I can hit a group of shots within a 3x3 circle from 100 yards out. It kicks like a mule but that's what you get with a lightweight cannon. I'm very happy with this firearm.

I bought this rifle because I couldnt scope my 91/30 mosin nagant, I really wanted a cheap, high powered sniper. For a whopping $310 I bought this gun. Kicks like a mule, the 'supercell' recoil pad sounds nice, but the 30'06 (7.62 x 63) is going to recoil. For a budget rifle you cannot beat it. Buds service and delivery was amazing, my 4th purchase from buds, just put the taurus 740 slim on layaway 3 mins ago. I would highly recommend this rifle for anyone on a budget, looking a powerful, reliable bolt action rifle. Btw the bent bolt is a nice feature but is a very tight squeeze with the scope, and the bolt isnt very smooth. 8/10 ay least you will not be dissapointed with this purchase.

I am amazed every time I have purchased something from Buds! they are fast, efficient, and accurate and I cant wait to go to the range and sight in my new Remington 783! I am looking forward to years of fun hunting with it!

save your extra $50 dollars or so and buy the slick version.......scopes is crap.....objective eye piece movement = change in point of impact............wiggles around several inches even at 25's.........certain that rifle is capable of 2 moa or better at 100' but haven't got a decent scope mounted on it yet to try it out..........looking forward to retesting..........
