• Q: Just checking to see if this gun is bear load rated? Looking for a back/bear country gun and just wanted to see if this is a good choice?

  Hi Jonathon, the G40 is +P compatible. From the Glock FAQ - "We recommend using ammunition that is manufactured and meets SAAMI or other industry standards, and while some +P ammunition meets these guidelines, +P+ usually does not. This ammunition may generate a higher pressure than standard ammunition, which could shorten the life of the parts of your firearm."

  . "P" as the first character in the model number is an Austrian made Glock, and "U" as the first character is USA made Glock

• Q: Which trigger pull weight does this model have? I know pull weight can be easly changed but what comes standard?

  Richard, The Gen 4 Glocks have the 5.5 lb trigger connector bar installed. You can buy other connector bars to change the angle that contacts the sear block to change the trigger pull weight.

  Yes it is but you must use Gen 4 magazines with the cutouts on both sides.

• Q: Does anyone know if this model can be bought with a threaded barrel.
  If not, can an after market threaded barrel be bought.
  I want to suppress this gun.

  Hi Jeff, you will have to purchase or have the current barrel threaded. Gock does not thread from the factory. Company's like Lone Wolf and KKM would be the place to start looking for a threaded barrel.
