Getting this particular gun was I have a frustrating experience but it really had nothing to do with buds. Actually, because Bud's was more transparent about this gun was one of the reasons why we purchased it from buds. The gun was marketed by other stores as coming with the dead air muzzle brake and the chassis even on bergara s website had a castle nut AR-15 Style buffer tube. Both of which turns out it doesn't come with because those were an older model. While we are bummed that bergara had changed those features on this particular model we are quite happy with the guns performance in the new chassis we purchased for it.

This was my first Bergara rifle and I don't have one bad thing to say. It arrived in just a few days after ordering at my FFL with no damage at all. The rifle was in a Bergara soft case in a cardboard box. The rifle comes with a test shot card for proof of accuracy from the manufacture. The card with mine was 0.310" 100 yard 3 shot group. The rifle shoots like a champ and the action is buttery smooth. The rifle comes with one 5 round single stack composite magazine. The rifle does not come with a scope, muzzle break or a scope rail. One thing that set me back a little time before I had the gun setup and was out on the range was that the threads for the rail in the action are 8-40 threaded with a hole pattern for a Remington 700 short action (standard is a little small threaded). This is in the manual on bergarausa.com website, but I overlooked it. The stock adjust ability is very sturdy, but you will need an Allen wrench to adjust. The fat grip is great. The threaded barrel threads for the muzzle break are 5/8-24 (very common for around this caliber). The barrel gets pretty warm after about 10 shots in 5-10 second shot intervals. I highly recommend this gun for those who want a very high quality precision bolt action, magazine fed rifle in 6.5 Creedmoor. 5+ stars for Bud's and Bergara!

I purchased the Bergara LRP precision rifle from Bud's because the price was very competitive and they had good reviews on the web. The order went through without any hitches and arrived at my FFL in a timely basis. There was a problem in that the rifle did not come with a muzzle brake as described in the gun's description and as shown on the picture. I called Bud's and they found that the rifle no longer ships with the muzzle brake but since it was shown in picture and on the description, they sent me the muzzle brake anyways. I feel like they took care of me with this little issue and I am very pleased with the service I received from Bud's Gun Shop. Now I will buy my ammo and and future gun purchase from Buds. Very satisfied.....
