The Billet Warthog is low-shelf for RDIAS, has milled manufacturer engravings, accepts .154" diameter trigger and hammer pins, and features a MIL-A-8625F Type III Class 2 hardcoat anodized finish, inside and out. The Lower Parts Kit Group includes semi-auto enhanced lower parts kit with rounded hammer. All components are manufactured to applicable mil-spec requirements. Featuring Spike's Tactical Battle Trigger, the trigger and hammer engagement surfaces have been jeweled/polished during the manufacturing process, then coated in nickle boron. Additional highlights include ambidextrous safety, Spike's Tactical billet trigger guard, 1.14" 7075 mil-spec six-position receiver extension, mil-spec castle nut and latch plate, ST-T2 tungsten heavy buffer, and a mil-spec 17-7 stainless steel buffer spring.

I bought this for a .300 blackout build with a bit of extra cool factor after seeing it advertised in American Rifleman. The receiver itself is pretty neat, good detail on the face with a very matte finish (just don’t expect it to be looking pretty out of the box). The spikes tactical parts are my reason for taking off a star, they just feel cheap so if you are planning a build I would buy the stripped version. Over all it works like it’s supposed to so if you are looking for an lower that’s ready to slap on an upper this is a solid choice!
