I got a precise one. Mine likes 50-53 grain federal ammo most. It easily shoots 1/4" MOA both suppressed and unsuppressed.

Light and compact, takes standard AR-15 magazines...good addition to any collection!

I originally was going to order this rifle in 7.62x39 but was swayed by the fact it also takes AR 5.56 magazines of which I already have those. This rifle is small and compact and with the Bushnell 3x9x50 scope I put on it turned it into exactly what I wanted. All the reviews say it's a very accurate rifle and I hope I get to the range soon and find out for myself. As always, a seamless transaction with Bud's.

I love this rifle. It is short, light and very handy. I live in a less than free state. My goal with this rifle was for it to feed from every AR mag I have...and it does. It's hard to beat a Ruger. Buds is amazing...but you knew that already.

Rifle is very good as described by Bud's and Ruger product information. The shipping time was reasonable and as described by Bud's during high volume times I would buy again as the price is always competitive.

Bought this rifle to replace a bolt action 243 that I never used. Chambered in 5.56, this American Ranch rifle is extremely accurate right out of the box. A great rifle to have and since it's a 5.56 mm, there is plenty of ammo for it.

The Ruger American Ranch rifle is my first Nato 5.56/.223 rem firearm. Since I shoot from a bench rest mostly I preferred a conventional bolt action to an AR style platform. At this price point I wasn't expecting a high quality fit and finish firearm. However, the fit and finish of this gun are far below what I was expecting. There are manufacturing tool marks on the barrel and the receiver. The black matte finish on the barrel is incomplete in several spots with bare metal showing through. The functioning of the bolt and receiver are within reason and the accuracy is ok.. So, I believe the rifle will suit my needs.....just disappointed and surprised at the lack of quality in the fit and finish. I have several other Ruger rifles, and this is by far the worst. Unfortunately, in today's world, there aren't many other choices out there.

Wow what an ordeal getting a hold of one of these lil gems but with a whole lot of patience it pays off with buds as they always have the best prices and smoothest transactions. This firearm is featherlight and after a proper cleaning bolt is like butter. Only complaint I can come up with is the mag release button is partly covered by design of the stock. It seems Ruger could have molded that better but I don't have large fingers so it's not a prob for me. I already love this gun and have not fired it yet but hv high expectations from friends experiences and reviews on internet.

Love the size and accuracy of this rifle. Only 25 rds through it and avg .85" at 100. Very happy with the rifle and look forward to more range time with it.

What a fantastic little rifle! Shoots sub MOA with a variety of ammunition, the action was a bit stiff at first but has worked in and is now smoother. The trigger was heavy at first but I was able to adjust it down to approximately 3lbs. This is quickly becoming my favorite rifle.

Very nice rifle. Was fairly accurate straight out of the box. I oiled the bolt and action was a lot smoother. It’s nice that you can use any mags for an m16/ar15.

Love it! I just stuck an old, cheap, fixed four power scope on it and hurried out to the range to get some idea of how the rifle shoots and am very happy with the results. Action a little stiff but it is already starting to feel better after about 100 rounds.
