The colt 45 is the gun of my dreams. This gun is beautiful shoots great I just love it Italian built, spaghetti western gun great gun.

Second one Ive owned. These are well made and very accurate revolvers. I used to use my other for putting hogs down in the ranch. The thump of the 45 long colt did the trick every time. I’ve you’re on the fence buy one, you won’t regret it.

Amo il mio Pistolero! Enjoying "spaghetti western" fun 6 shots at a time with this Italian Colt clone. Beautiful finishes have made it a handsome addition to my collection. But it's the Cimarron's smooth action and trigger, along with minimal recoil, that have made it a true blast to shoot! Lead or fmj, no issues and easy to clean. Only negative would be some sharp edges around the trigger guard and grip that needed minor attention. But not enough to sway my opinion of the value and shoot-ability of this quality firearm. My first online purchase with Buds and wont be my last, fast and easy all around. I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a nice range of selection, good prices, and quality service.

First off, let me say this is the nicest looking SAA clone I know of. The brass along with the color case hardened frame is very pretty. I did have an issue with the revolver when I first got it that I was a little disappointed with. The cylinder would not keep turning when cocking it if there was any drag at all. With it being a brand new gun, I contacted Cimarron and was instructed to return it to their repair facility. When I got the gun back it was still doing the exact same thing so I decided to fix it myself. It ended up being that the slot in the back of the frame where the hand rides up wasn't milled out properly so the hand didn't maintain a good purchase on the back of the cylinder. Once I removed that excess material it began working correctly and now it has become one of my favorite SAA clones. It is a four click action that shoots very accurately, once I filed down the front sight to match my loads, and it has given me many hours of enjoyment. If you aren't afraid of doing a little work on a gun if necessary I'd say go ahead and purchase this weapon. It's a beauty!

Bought this cimarron pistolero .45 long colt clone model for the price point and reviews i saw on this model and i wanted a .45 colt clone with a 4 5/8 inch barrel. buds shipped it out fast and i had it within a weeks time for pick up. i have to say the fit and finish on mine is flawless from the walnut grips and brass back strap to the case hardened frame and bluing on the barrel. even the hammer is case hardened. i really like the old style 4 click hammer and there is a second click position on hammer that locks up the trigger and that could be used if someone wanted to carry with 6 rounds loaded & not having the hammer resting on a round. hammer action is really smooth with a nice trigger pull. i have not had a chance to shoot it yet as the .45 l c ammo is no where to be found & i am saving what little i have put up but i feel it will work and shoot fine and the only knock on this revolver i can point out is that the cylinder pin is a beast getting it out & i can only hope it will break in and smooth out with some use. overall a really nice made revolver that i would recommend.

I bought this gun because I wanted a Southwestern gun. And I Love the look and feel of this gun. It shoots smooth. Not much of a kick as I expected. I super happy I bought this gun.

Beautiful revolver. I like it very much, it seams nice and strong without flaws, metal to wood fitting looks great. A gun that I'm happy I bought. Shoots good and straight right out of the box.

This is a 4 click model like the actual Colt, and a beautiful! The brass on the outlining of the grip looks excellent, and the case hardened finish is stunning. The picture doesn’t do this gun justice at all.

This is an absolutely beautiful firearm. It feels like it was made for your hand. The finish is great, all parts are fitted very nicely, and it functions perfectly. Shooting it accurately with one hand is almost second nature. And, yes, it is a four-click gun.

I did wonder how really good it might be for such a low price, but it really is a great revolver. I currently have 4 Ruger Single Actions. A New Model Super Blackhawk and three 44 Mag New Vaquero's, and a .45 Long Colt New Vaquero on the way to me from Buds as I write this. This Pistolero isn't comparable to the Ruger's. Nor was it intended to be. But what it is, is a really nice copy of a Colt SAA, and that is why people buy it. It shoots nice, looks awesome, fit and finish is very nice. I'm really impressed, and intend to buy some more of these Cimarron SAA copies. As always Bud's is great to deal with.

This is one beautiful revolver, well made and authentic to its origin. Workmanship, fit & finish are nearly flawless. Not as big a handful as I expected and can't wait to run thru a few boxes of 45lc. Just a side note, Heritage Arms offers a nice leather plain western holster that fits this piece perfectly for a "steal" price .No regrets buying this gun and would recommend it to anyone wanting a piece of history (4 click Colt). The Cimarron Pistolero is a pretty good bang for buck. It is accurate and will eat a lot of ammo even reloads ranging from cast lead to fmj and from .451”-.452” bullets. I have fired about 350 various rounds through my Pistolero and have had 2 light primer strikes. These failures could have been the ammo or me, but that’s the only failures thus far. The gun does get pretty dirty after I shoot and is time consuming to clean but I do thoroughly clean my guns after a days shooting at the range. The inside of the barrel does not have a good coating of what ever Pietta uses to make there barrels because mine is not shinny black but more gray and brass/copper colored now. The screws on the gun do loosen after a day at the range 100+ rounds so I have to tighten every time but I find blue lock tight has really improved this issue. This I a relatively inexpensive entry gun into SAA replicas that does the job of having fun at the range or those who are getting into cowboy action shooting or want a function replica for nostalgia reasons. However, if you want a more serious quality SAA colt clone then maybe start with a higher end Cimarron or Uberti or a Ruger Vaquero or Blackhawk. But for around $400 you get a beautiful looking function SAA Colt clone that is a great deal for new entries into SAA revolvers.

Love this pistol. One of the most old west authentic looking pistols Ive owned. Fit and workmanship of the pistol is great.

This one is a keeper. The gun is beautiful, it is accurate, and the price is unbeatable. Cylinder throats gauge at .452 on mine, as you would wish. My one complaint would be the cylinder pin. It should have a groove all around rather than just a notch on one side. It's a bit of a hassle to put it in properly this way. But it's certainly not a deal breaker.
