I HAVE BEEN USING THE CCI QUIET 22 SEMI-AUTO AMMO FOR A FEW MONTHS NOW. I HAVE USED OVER 10,000 ROUNDS AND LOVE IT. IT IS MUCH QUIETER THAN MOST, EXCEPT FOR THE SUB SONIC. THE SUB SONIC DOES NOT DO A GOOD JOB OF CYCLING THE SEMI-AUTO PISTOLS. I HAVE USED IT IN AT LEAST FIVE OR SIX DIFFERENT PISTOLS AND IF I COUNTED CORRECTLY, ONLY ONCE DID I HAVE A PISTOL THAT DID NOT GET RID OF THE SPENT SHELL. ALSO IT IS CHEAPER THAN MOST OF WHAT I WAS SHOOTING. I GAVE A PARTIAL BOX TO A GUY AND HIS FATHER, WHO WERE AT THE RANGE AND DOING AN OUTSTANDING JOB OF HITTING THE BULLSEYE. THEY TRIED IT. THE ACCURACY WAS THE FIRST THING THEY TALKED ABOUT. THEY WERE AS ACCURATE AS THE EXPENSIVE AMMO THAT THEY WERE SHOOTING. THEY LOVED THE LESS NOISE AND WERE GOING TO START USING IT WITH THEIR KIDS AND THE GRAND KIDS. ONE OF MY STUDENTS , A LADY AROUND 70 YEARS OLD, HAS SHOT AROUND 5,000 ROUNDS OF IT. SHE DOES NOT EVEN USE THE AMMO THAT SHE USED TO TARGET PRACTICE WITH. REPLACED THE OLD WITH THIS . I KEEP AROUND 3 CASES OF 5,000 RDS IN SUPPLY. SOMETIMES A LITTLE HARD TO FIND. I DON'T WANT TO RUN OUT. GOOD STUFF. LARRY P.

as quiet as it is in my savage mark II, it’s a wonder what it would sound like thru a suppressor. Since it’s a low power round, do not use in a semi-auto, had a few FTE and misfeeds in a super old 22 semi-auto that used other 22 rounds just fine, but have not done any other testing with other rifles

Didn’t really realize a significant decrease in sound from these compared to the regular CCI rounds but they worked well and all fired without any issues.

I was looking for subsonic 22LR rounds and this definitely fit the bill. Very accurate and quiet, I’ll definitely be grabbing more. Thanks Buds.

Exactly what I've been looking for, quiet and accurate. Cycles in my new 10/22 without any issues. I only tried them at 50 yrds. and was able to put them inside a 2" square. Very satisfied

I purchased this ammo specifically for use in Phoenix HP22A pistols. The owner's manual for this pistol recommends the use of subsonic ammo. In my experience, the HP22A will not reliably cycle CCI Quiets. CCI Standard Velocity works well but is quite loud in the pistol. The velocity of the CCI QUIET-22 SEMI-AUTO ammo at the rated 835 fps is approximately an average of the velocity of the 710 fps CCI Quiets and the 1070 fps CCI Standard Velocity. The CCI QUIET-22 SEMI-AUTO works great in my HP22A's. It's quiet, accurate, and cycles reliably. It also works well in my Heritage Rough Riders and my Ruger Super Wrangler. My chronograph tests of this ammo in an 18-inch rifle barrel averaged 875 fps versus the rated 835 fps. I have only gotten mediocre accuracy in several of my bolt-action rifles with this ammo, which is the reason I rate it at four stars.

Great round to use with a suppressor. Had no trouble with cycling with my semi auto handgun or semi auto rifle.

It reliably cycles my Ruger 10/22 and is quiet when suppressed. I paid 7 cents a round including shipping. Don't succumb to the thought of paying more for ammo than you would have just 2 months ago. Wait and the prices will come down.

I fired 500 rounds through my new Marlin 795 (purchased from Bud's last month). A few times the second round in one particular magazine didn't cycle - the spent round ejected but a new round didn't load. It's a little louder than the regular quiet 22 but a lot more quiet than standard velocity. The impact on the steel plate made more noise than the shot. At 50 yards it's flat accurate. So, good news, pretty quiet and very reliable. Bad news - It's so much fun I blew through 500 rounds in a couple weeks!
