My barrel started pitting after a few months in the safe. One of the worst guns I've ever carried. So many other guns worth the money.

This gun as actually really awesome. Mine did have an issue feeding occasionally, but I've only put 100 rounds through it, and RIA themselves recommend a 500 round break-in period. This is very much not a gun for smaller people, the grip is huge. With the gun held in a firing grip, I can't reach the magazine release with my thumb, I have to use my left hand to hit the button. Honestly though, a wide grip is a small price to pay for 16 rounds of 10mm. The weight of the gun really helps tame the recoil quite a bit, and the treaded muzzle allows the use of a compensator or even suppressor, which would help even more. I do think the spring weights the gun comes with are a bit too light for full powered 10mm loads. It slings the brass pretty far and fast. I had casings bouncing off the walls and hitting me on the head at the indoor range I tested it at. I also think the gun really should come with the fiber optic rear sight instead of the white dots, but it's really not a big deal. You really can't beat the price to quality ratio for a double stack 10mm 1911 that you get in this package.

this is a good all around pistol I love shooting, rite out of the box its dead on and 10 mil it has good power out to 50 yards, yes it feels heavy but what it brings to the game is well worth the weight, and recoil is not an issue with the full size grip and 16 rounds,you can get a lot done, the sights are good with red fiber optic at the front, I bought 4 extra mags, it only came with one, I would not hesitate to carry this gun in a tough situation, comparable to kimbers and colts for a lot less.

I bought RIA 5.5” 1911 double stack. It’s my new favorite gun, I have large hands and double stack handle fits nicely in my hands. Due to the weight of the gun, 10mm auto feels like 9mm.

Fantastic pistol, especially for the price! Wonderful trigger, aggressive grips, smooth mechanics, and a great shooter.

Cycles everything from 220g hardcasts to 180g hollow points. Not for people with small hands as the grip is pretty large.
