The Glock 17 was the first firearm I ever purchased and it is excellent. I bought it in 2020 but never got around to reviewing it. I found it to be much lighter than my friend's Sig Sauer and I liked the trigger pull better on the Glock too. Disassembly and cleaning was much easier than I expected. C'mon, it's a GLOCK. I think this is my 16th one. Can't go wrong and the only brand I'd trust my life to right outta the box.

It's a Glock 17, of course it works. I am not too particular on the grip as I own the Gen 4 as well with the finger grooves but I do like the flared magazine well. I also feel the notoriously stiff trigger is a little smoother on the Gen 5. No complaints as I know it is reliable. For a first time buyer there are several options out there but this is a solid choice for self defense.

Love this gun. It’s very accurate and easy to shoot, minimal recoil and smooth on every shot. Great for home defense or cc.

Flawless - as you've come to expect from a Glock. Gen 5 trigger is a bit more crisp than previous and the slide serrations (while not my favorite thing visually) work very well in all types of weather. It's tough to best a Gen 5 Glock 17 in terms of functionality, reliability and aftermarket support for modifications, customizations and additions. It's one of the foundational pistol models of any firearm collection and will far outlast most owners and outshoot most shooters' abilities.

Nice pistol to shoot. I never had any issues or problems. This Glock is a great shooter. The only new part I put on was an NDZ extended mag release button. I would recommend this pistol.

Always wanted this model and Buds had it at a great price. This gun took a little longer to get but I was in know hurry especially with the money I saved

Not much to say that hasn’t already been said. Always goes bang. The Gen 5 trigger is much smoother IMO than previous generations. Only complaint is the rear sight was drifted pretty far to the right out of the box, but should be an easy fix for anyone. It is likely you’ll replace the sights anyways per the norm.

Great 9mm with the 17 rd clips, but even better with the optional 33 rd clips I purchased.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but the trigger on this seems so much smoother and lighter than the earlier versions. I'm probably still going to replace the trigger because Glocks triggers are known to be blehhh.... but I might not have to. Haven't shot it yet, but with Glocks, you know what you are getting.

This is my first Glock pistol and I like the way it feels in my hand. They always looked a little cheesy to me but I'm really liking this 5th gen
