Solid firearm! No failures and very accurate. I wish I had bought one much sooner.

The Phoenix arms range kit is amazing, it comes with everything you need or would want in a very nice case, the price is amazing, quality is amazing and it's such a cool little 22 caliber hand gun,fit and finish is top notch, I'm totally delighted with this purchase, for the price you can't go wrong.

Cool gun that's fun and cheap to shoot. Weird lock and multiple safeties, but I guess that comes with the territory of manufacturing in California.

Good little cheap gun kit. The Range kit is handy and the no tool 1min barrel change makes for fun accurate plinking. It was a bit stiff at first so I lightened the trigger and added an after market recoil spring, pearl grips. lol. It feels real.

This Phoenix kit is fantastic! It has everything you need to enjoy shooting .22 pistol. Long barrel, short barrel, magazines, cleaning gear…they are all there in a very nice hard case. On top of that the pistol itself is accurate, reliable and easily concealable. This kit is not to be underestimated. It is a great kit. Well done, Phoenix.

For the price,,,,way more than I expected. Have owned this gun for a while. Put many rounds through it. Very few problems...goes "bang" every time I pull the trigger...what more could you want. Takedown, re-assembly, and barrel swap a little tricky at first. It is what it is...I have no regrets and would buy it again.

If you don't mind taking the gun apart and filing every single piece to make it work properly, you will love this gun.

the hp22 dlx is great. very accurate and lots of fun. highly recommend.

My sons first gun and he loves plinking targets with it. Works great a little hard to rack for an 11 year old but he is learning.

I purchased my HP22A back in 2016 & have had few fte’s & ftf’s. As for performance it takes some getting use to but overall I give it four stars.
Never give anything five stars only because any reviews with five stars I consider to be fake. I will suggest 2 things first get the kit with extra mags case, & 5” inch barrel
Second practice & use different grain ammo, clean after each time your done shooting. Thanks bud’s

Great deal on a great package for cheap shooting . Looking for an economical way to shoot targets for fun out here in Commiefornia. Rules upon rulles and laws upon laws, shooting free behind the "Redwood Curtain" is expensive and frustrating at times. Little .22 guns are the way to shoot and have fun. Prompt service from Bud's as always. Bought the lifetime to me warranty as always. Usually don't mess with cheap guns, but wanted to experience buying one on the last day of the year before new laws took effect Jan. 1st. Gun arrive quickly. Got the package for 179.00 from Bud's. Gun came with two magazines, two barrels, 5" and a 3"barrel, cleaning kit, ram rod for barrel cleaning, ear plugs for shooting and oil to lubricate gun. Also a magazine lock that goes into the magazine chamber so mag. cannot be loaded. Got to see the gun at the FFL. Handled it , chocked it, manipulated the action a little, removed the magazine lock, loaded a magazine in it, checked all functioning. Gave it back to the dealer. Paid him for transfer fee, tax on the out of state purchase, new back ground check to see if I can own it. Have paid Bud's 179.00 , plus 9.00 for lifetime warranty, and a buck for NRA donation. 232.00$ later I had to leave the gun with the FFL and come back in exactly 10 days to pick it up. I can pick it up on the 18th after 6:00 pm no sooner, (exactly 10 complete days wait, internet was down at the FFL when he went to input my gun, so could be one more day before pickup). All these gun laws harassing the legal gun owners don't make the world any safer. Criminals buy illegal , untraceble guns to break the laws with. However, we still live in the greatest country on the planet earth, and it is totally awesome that I can jump through the lops, hoops and joops to mail order a pistol 6 states away and it is warrantied and registered to me from great gun lovers named Bud's, out of the great state of Kentucky !!!! Thank you Bud's for giving me wonderful deals on one of the last "Rights" left in America. Stay strong, stay long. Keep shooting. Continue being "Too legit to quit" as MC Hammer says. Buy em' legal and shoot the piss out of them as often as possible! Can't wait to run this little gun through the paces. Will shoot CCI mini Mags only. Very nice package with both a 3" and 5" inch barrel included. This tiny pistol has some weight to it, so keep that in mind. Two 10 round mags are nice, one with pinky extension.
The only issue I have with this firearm is the somewhat tricky double safety. The magazine safety has been frustrating at times when not accustomed to it being there. I fear that it would actually make the pistol LESS safe if you have a magazine jam, as you would be unable to clear a round from the chamber if the magazine is not engaged.
Otherwise, a fun little plinker/truck gun.

The gun was supposed to be nickle plated but it was not I was pretty disappointed about the gun it is not nickle plated

Excellent valued product. Can be used as conceal/carry, or as a target pistol with the 5" barrel attached. Put 200 rounds through without any type of failure. Shot extremely accurately for both me and my wife, with no recoil at all. Same holds true with the Phoenix Arms 25 arc, as well. Would definitely recommend the deluxe range kit over just purchasing the gun. Cleaned and inspected it thoroughly after the 200 rounds, and there were no frame issues at all. Lastly, once you know how to use these pistols, the safeties mentioned on You tube as being overkill were actually no problem at all.

Obviously a great value for the price. It is the perfect starter hand gun for a new shooter to take to the range.

This is a awesome little 22 for the cost. It’s inexpensive to use and keep running. Phoenix Arms sells all the replacement parts (springs, barrels, Mags,etc) if needed. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.

Good for the price. It is a pretty good deal for the gun with both 3 and 5 inch barrels and both clips. The slide sticks open because of the rough surface under it rubbing on the firing hammer so I have to push the slide closed to load it, but it cycles properly when shooting. I figure it will wear in over time. I have only shot about 50 rounds through it so far, and it did not jam. Sights were not aligned very well, but rear sight is adjustable, so didn't take much to fix. Over all I like it for the money, but would not like it as much if I had paid more.

This is an exceptional kit for the first time gun buyer/shooter. I got it to teach my young nieces and nephews (smaller hands) the fundementals of safety, cleaning, and care for a firearm. Definately not a firearm to be counted on for protection, but great for the range, teaching and plinking.

fun gun to shoot! i have this one and the black steel one also. the stainless is much smoother and ejectes shells better.

Is an ok gun, its not a bad gun, its just not great. The parts are cheap and questionable. But hey, its like they say, you get what you pay for. Its a perfect back up gun for ccw, or just something to leave in your glove box in your vehicle.
