We're kind of limited here in CA & wanted a less expensive 1911. This was one of my better purchases, shoots better than I expected. I have no plans to change anything on it. Only comes with 1 mag & the Wilson Combat mags I have don't sit in or eject properly, so I bought 4 Mec Gar mags and they work perfectly.

50 rounds of brass casing so far no issues. Fit and finish are great. Grips on this one are good for me but can be very aggressive for others. Safety and slide release levers are sharp and can be another issue for some but I like that. My dad’s Colt ss is smoother when moving slide and levers are not sharp, but also $1500 more. This RIA1911 is impressive to me. I like it and have no regrets!

Totally satisfied with this purchase. The pistol is tight, has extended slide lock, beaver tail and safety. Be careful when buying a holster. Most standard 1911 holsters will not accommodate an extended slide lock.
