Overall, I would buy it again. Save yourself some trouble and get the EGW upgraded guide rod and spring kit. You will blow apart the factory installed guide rod if shooting higher power rounds. It is rated P but the guide rod will not hold up. Check the internet for similar stories. Common problem, I still own 3 Rock Island handguns and feel the upgrade is a minor nuisance.

I love this gun. I had reservations about the shortened grip and whatnot, but the learning curve is short and it's an absolutely hoot to shoot Small hands need not apply - it's a double stack .45 and it's a CHONK. It conceals better than you'd think - remember, CHONK - but that fat ass grip IS going to print a bit unless you're a really large human. I wish I could get a better front sight on it, but I'm made to understand that fiber was melting due to the top porting. Oh well. It shoots well. 4*s because I DID have a failure about 100 rounds in, the barrel lug just straight up shattered and the recoil spring jumped out of the front of the gun. Not a great thing. No idea what caused it, but RIA sent me an entire replacement recoil assembly without much hassle, so it's all good I guess...

It’s a really good pistol. I made modifications since it became my daily appendix edc. The folks at EGW were great help with my mods. I have an RMR on this. I put on warthog grips. I also added the warthog finger extension base plates for a full grip. Changed out the firing pin plate. Replaced the guide rod kit. Sellier and Bellot XRG 165gn is my preferred edc ammo. I used Winchester white box 230gn FMJ on the range and finished with a magazine of S&B XRG. She may be heavy but she eats up any recoil and remains fast flat and smooth. I use the ATLI universal leather iwb/owb holster. Good pistol out of the box. Great pistol with some mods.

I love my rocks, and this baby is no different. Solid and reliable. I added a 14 round magazine and makes grip perfect for my big hands.

For several years, I have wanted to purchase the BBR 3.10, but was hesitant due to the price. Once Bud's advertised it for a fraction of the original price, I bought it. Bud's delivered to my FFL in 2 days as advertised and the process was super simple. I absolutely love the gun!! I have large hands, so my pinky finger doesn't fit on the butt of the gun. However, the polymer grips and the wide double stack mag frame fit comfortably in my hand. It's a little heavy for a CCW, but it still can be used as one. As others have stated, the 10 round is difficult to get into the magazine, so I only put 9 in. Great gun and received on time.

As a fan of 45acp 1911s the BBR 3.10 (Baby Rock) is a Gun I yearned after for quite a while. Finally receiving it I can only say it is one of the most beautiful guns in my collection. This mini powerhouse is right up my alley,and holding 10 rounds of 45acp I can spend more time shooting at the range, with less time reloading. For 1911 fans this guns a treat.If 45 cal is your thing, you should check it out.

Love my baby rock. Very smooth trigger pull and even though I'm considered a small guy the recoil is very manageable. The only drawback is the pinky hang but you can swap out the magazine plate with one that will help with the overhang.

I purchased this Lil chunky monkey to add to my rotation. It is awesome. As small as it is I was expecting a lot more recoil. Between it's hefty weight and inline ports, the recoil is tamed nicely. It's a well built piece.

Excellent little gun. Less recoil than a micro 9mm.

My first RIA was the 22TCM combo, and fitted the extractor and shoots 22tcm, 9mm, and 38super with no problems whatsoever. The BBR 3.10 is also no disappointment. Bought 3 14 rd mags for the warthog. With minimal effort fitted them to the BBR. Now I have a better grip and hit everything I aim at. Thanks Buds, for the great transactions and prices.

I have had a few rock island pistols and like them all this one is definitely different and isn't made to be carried. It's pretty heavy and I had to purchase something to add to the magazines that I purchased to add a little more length to them. All in all I'm happy with another RIA 😁

I like this little firearm. It's fun/ it's cool/ and it's a .45! The grip is a bit short. (Pearce) makes pinky finger mag extensions. And yes, also the 14 round mag from it's big brother would work this firearm. For those wondering if this is ported. Yes this firearms has ports on the top of barrel. Recoil is manageable and decently accurate for what it is.

Rock Island does not disappoint with this "Baby Rock". 3.1" barrel. Relatively heavy dispite its small package but give very little kick when firing. Adjustable rear sight allows for perfect fine tuned groupings.

i recently bought a BBR Amscor 1911 from Buds online shopping. I have been looking for this particular gun for several years but only to be discouraged by my local gun dealers telling me that ordering from the manufacturer wasn’t an option because of so many back orders. I found out about Buds from my cousin and he said I should look on their website. Sure enough I found it ! 20 years ago my carry permit expired and recently decided to get my permit again. When I last carried, I carried a pair of Para Ordinance P-12 45's, and now that they are unavailable, it took a bit of research to make my new carry rig equal to or better than before. I wanted better than 8+1 capacity, but also wanted to stick with a 1911 officer style weapon, and one with external hammer. I ordered the last two of these pistols Bud's had in stock. I was also super pleased that upon arrival at my FFL, these two BBR pistols were consecutive serial number. They were both packed well oiled, fit perfectly into the double shoulder holster rig I ordered ahead of time, and as well accept the P14 mags perfectly with no modification necessary to the clips. Ive run 10 rounds each through both pistols with no jamming and couldnt be more pleased with these nicely made and affordable pistols.

Was hoping it was the one shown in the picture but upon receiving it turned out to be the that says 3.10 on the side instead of the warrior .an in all honesty I think the one that says 3.10 on the side looks totally better then the one shown so no harm no foul .but if I was Buds I would change the picture in the advertisement some people might not be so compromising at first I was a Lil pssd but the more I looked at it it does look better lol
