I bought this as a truck gun for the ranch great rifle shoots really good with 58gr vmax and 87gr vmav.

Great gun with a short barrel is the perfect gun for shooting out of a box blind or just to have in the stand . The bolt is smooth magazine is smooth and it looks great with the color combos they used

i love ruger rifles and this is by far the best one! Definitely fun for a coyote or general hunting. Would recommend 10/10

Something to note, this rifle is a compact with a 12.5" length of pull. I'm 6'2" and the rifle fits me to a tee with the extra thickness of winter clothing. I bought a Browning Xbolt, also in compact, for the same reason. The accuracy of this rifle is on par with guns costing much more. Using Norma 100gr ammo I'm shooting MOA or better. Fit and finish are very good and the muzzle break is a nice extra. I found a Burris 2.5-10 scope for it with a matching burnt bronze Cerakote finish. Great bang for the buck with this rifle in a compact easy to carry package. I'd recommend it.
