This is my first CVA purchase, but it certainly won't be my last. The fit and finish, attention to detail and overall quality is impressive. I am looking at their bolt action rifles next. As a retired machinest and inspector, I am very critical when inspecting unknown products. CVA has really impressed me in this day of "how cheap can we build it". I highly recommend all CVA products.

Excellent rifle very accurate. Has some good weight but helps with the recoil. Would buy again

Great shooting rifle. Well balanced with a very smooth trigger. I sighted it in at 50 yards because I hunt in the woods and feel very confident this will bring a deer down.

Very accurate gun. I use it for deer hunting during primitive season. It KICKS LIKE A MULE. This gun will do the job for you, but be prepared to hold on

Well made rifle , does not have the ferocious recoil I was concerned about although it’s no sissy either . 1 moa or less using hornady 250 grain ftx ammo . Nothing negative to say , bare bones family feeder. I love it

Just received, read the product description carefully. This is not the break down model. Tools required for disassembly. Not a backpack gun. I'll figure out how to make it work, but very disappointing that it requires tools for disassembly as that was the primary factor I was looking for.

Nice little budget deer gun

The CVA 450 Bushmaster is very accurate. Once sighted in I have 3 shots bat 100 yards you can cover with a Quarter. I am very happy with this gun.

This gun is a tack driver. Have a 45-70 with the same set up. Definitely a fan of the 450 bushmaster. Nothing walks very far after the shot

I bought this CVA because my state has now allowed center fire rifles to be used for deer season. The 12 gauge sabots I was using were costly, non reloadable, lately hard to find and I also found lot to lot accuracy inconsistency across a broad spectrum of sabots I have used and tried over the years. I chose the CVA Scout because I have a CVA Optima, it is accurate, well built and the Scout is nearly the same platform and the price was right. At the range it was very accurate, nearly minuet of angle, and consistent accuracy, more so than my Remington 1100. Plus another benefit, I can reload the 450 Bushmaster far less expensive that a 12 gauge sabot and can equal factory load accuracy and performance. This CVA fits the bill, price wise, accuracy wise and I am looking forward to this coming deer season, I am confident it can fill my freezer.

I have always looked at guns at Buds but never bought one from there, I always check reviews and they were always very good and it seems the customer service was excellent. I went ahead and bought the CVA Scout Bushmaster 450. The communication after the purchase was excellent, the shipping time was also excellent. When I got notification it had been delivered at the dealer I went there and they stated it had not been delivered. I called Buds and spoke to a customer service person right away and she got the order out and verified it had been delivered, the time, who signed for it, etc. They found it. Needless to say I bought another gun there shortly there after, and it will be my place to go to when buying a gun online. The rifle arrived in excellent shape, shoots great. Just wished they had ammo!!
