Bought it for my wife and she loves it.

Never bought GSG before because from what I've read, seen, and been told they're bottom of the barrel quality... figured this was cheap enough to try and I needed a .22LR pistol, well it came and you can see imperfections all over the mag including a sliver of material that came off when the magazine was first removed leaving a sort of small yet long gouge down the body, the blueing on the take down lever looks like it was rub-on type blueing (not what you'd expect from a factory,) that wasn't even applied right (it mostly came off when being wiped down with Ballistol as well) the casting on the hammer is uneven as well and the gun was filthy when taken out of packaging covered in what looked like powdered latex glove powder... since most of it was in finger-shaped smudges (albeit without prints,) maybe switch to non-powdered gloves at the factory? Everything seems to function as it should, however, at least short of a live-fire test at the range that is. I guess I should have listened to reason, I mean the majority of this thing is made out of zamak after all...its cheap, it will probably work, but don't expect longevity since this thing is built very much to Saturday Night Special specifications.

good little gun. Be sure to put a lot of oil on it & shoot at least 50 high power rounds to break it in.

First of all, thanks to buds. This is a clone of the SigSauer mosquito but without the high cost. GSG has become an excellent manufacturer of arms. The range officer at my club was curious about my new gun, so I let him try it. He was at awe with performance and accuracy of the weapon out of the box. Then when I told him it only cost me $200 he immediately asked about how I got it. Of course I recommended Buds. Excellent.

Great little shooter although picky on ammo even with expensive stuff. Cheap and easy, 4/10 experience with it.

If you want a 22lr that cycles flawlessly and isn't picky about ammo this is the handgun for you. The price can't be beat and the quality remarkable!!

Great little 22lr pistol. I wasn't expecting much at this price but wow it surprised me. It has a very good weight for a 22 pistol. Zero flaws in craftsmanship of internal and external parts. If your looking for a very good plinker/training pistol the GSG firefly is it.

Good price. With that said, you get what you pay for. It's basic.

As everyone else said, this thing has a few issues. Mine gives me a hard time depending on which ammo I use. It’s not the worst thing but my purchase for this gun was so that I had a firearm in the house for my wife to use in case someone tried to break in while I’m not home. CCI ammo is great for this but I’m sure if the spring got swapped out with the extra that came with it there will probably be no problems. Again people, this is a cheap gun and not aimed to be the best but for the value I think it’s pretty good. Of the 300 rounds I shot through this I will say there has been about 15 fails which isn’t too bad.

Nice pistol for the money just one problem. When they did the white fill on the Firefly they left a haze of white on about 3 inches of slide.

Made my order on a Monday and received it on a Thursday. Have not been to the range yet but I am excite to try this out. Process was easy thanks to the staff at buds.

Basically a Sig Mosquito as we all know which i have owned several of. Had the ramp polished on them and never encountered a problem with ammo but of course i only used the CCI
rounds. Purchased several spare mags and plan on sighting in and storing away. Looks good, feels good in my hand and will probably purchase another.
Fit and finish in and out look very good.
