Buds service: Flawless and outstanding! as always. It is to the point now where it would take an act of the divine to convince me to order from anywhere else. Going on 10 or so years ordering from Buds and I have not had a single issue and I buy multiple guns per year from them. The gun: Like all my Henry rifles this one is accurate, the fit and finish are outstanding and it functions so smoothly you would think it had thousands of rounds through it, but it came that way out of the box. I HIGHLY recommend Henry lever actions if you like lever guns. I am shooting a 158 grain gas checked semi-wad cutter cast bullet and I have tried 4227, H110, and Lil'Gun. All were great out of it. I used CCI SR primers for all my loads and have had no issues with ignition in this using that harder primer. Even with the lead semi-wad cutter this rifle has fed everything I have thrown in it flawlessly. Target picture is a 20 round group at 100 yards the day I sighted it in, and includes all shots from bore sighted to final adjustments.

I absolutely love this lever action. It's incredibly accurate right out of the box with .357 rounds in 158 grain. My son likes to shoot it with .38 special rounds.

I bought this rifle because I wanted a PCC. The rifle arrived in a week. Its condition was excellent! The rifle is picky about its ammunition and as I’m a hand loader you need to watch case length closely. However, after addressing that issue it loads and fires flawlessly. I’m satisfied with this purchase and since I’ve bought through Buds many times I’d deal with them again.

Very nice rifle. I don’t really like how Henry replaced the forearm barrel ring with an end cap. I had to retighten the forearm end cap after coming back from the first time shooting this rife. After reading some other forums it kinda sounds like a known issue. They should’ve never went cheap.

really a slick shooting lever gun, it is somewhat picky on ammo used though. prefers the longer oal 38 special or 357 magnum rounds, things like the shorter light bullet 38`s are a no no in my example. stock screws all loosened after first box of shells. had to remove and blue locktite them and now they have held since. butt pad could of been better centered on the stock. im guessing mine was a monday morning or friday afternoon build would of liked to seen a little more qc out the door at Henry. that said the rifle shoot great, looks great invested in a dot sight stock sights are not great ymmv

Seems to function well. The sights need adjustment and are difficult to do. Probably will put a red dot on it. Got it quickly with no problems.

Beautiful gun. Stock is of good quality and everything appears to be well made. At the range I went through a box of 50 38’s and 50 357’s with no hang ups. Sights were a little off but all groups were tight and just a little left and down from center. Over all I’m happy with my purchase and fast service from Buds.

Typical Henry…. Great gun. Read the details the picture is not what you get on this one. Thaught i ordered the Carbine 357/38. Turned out to be the fullsize which is what i really wanted but was ready to settle for the carbine. I waited a long time for the gun to come back in stock and hopped on it. Buds shipping was super.
