Great gun. Weight helps with recoil. Only wished it was optic ready.

I own some very well made 1911 race guns chambered and 38 super I was at the range and I saw a gentleman shooting this Rock Island pro ultra match so we sat there talking about our guns and he offered to let me shoot well over 70 rounds later I was absolutely in love with this pistol it shoots just as good as my Springfield my Remington's my colts my kimbers my para my Wilson's..... Build quality is outstanding trigger is outstanding barrel is outstanding 17 + 1 round capacity double stacked LPA sights in the back fiber optics in the front extremely extremely impressed with this pistol my Wilson combat which is a 3,000 plus pistol well let's just say I'll never spend that kind of money again when Rock Island manufactures a pistol with this much quality this much accuracy for what they're asking it's got to be stolen

I have had this gun for a few weeks and have been able to put over 500 rounds threw it without any concerns. I am no great shot but at 15 yards am able to do 2 inch groups. It is a big framed gun so would not be good for someone with small hands. Love this gun.
