This is my second FN 509c. I really liked the first one, and in short time when another was available, I made the purchase for this second. The only "negative" I have with this firearm purchase is that there wasn't a secondary back strap in the packaging, unlike the first. Not a significant negative as I never changed them out on the first 509c and didn't feel it necessary to change on this one.
At least 100 rounds through this handgun without issue. One hundred rounds isn't much of a test of functionality and reliability, but sufficient enough for me at this time with cost and availability of ammo.
With the 12 round magazine, my "pinky" finger drops below the hand grip, but that really isn't a problem. The 15 round mag has enough of an extension that it fills my grip sufficiently. No significant pro's or con's regarding the fit / handling with the two magazine capacities. The 12 round is in the frame at all times, the 15 round is for mag change if needed. I just adapt to what there is and practice equally with both.
Again, I like the 509c enough to have wanted two of them. After a lot of research, I purchased them for what they are and for my intended my use. Compact, ambidextrous controls, concealable, and the history/reliability of FN firearms.

I was a little disappointed in this one, my first F&N and was not all to happy with it. Would have liked to see an external safety and threaded barrel on it without the price of a tactical F&N...

The FN 509C is a great compact carry gun for me. This is my third striker fire and second compact handgun. What really sets this gun apart from many others is that it is fully ambidextrous. Something which is high on my list of requirements as I practice right and left handed shooting. Not many rounds fired through it yet, just over 100 without any problems. Great gun, easy to handle and shoot. Quite happy with the purchase.

Good price, in this market, and a flawless gun. Overall, very well finished and a great shooter. Buds, as usual did their part with no issues.
