S&W 30 Super Carry I purchased this out of curiosity wondering why only two gun manufacturers build a 30 Super Carry The S&W reasonably priced firearm is interesting and shoots very well. In the middle between .380 and 9MM. I bought the gun for my wife to use if she needs it and it came with the S&W EZ Slide and manipulating the slide is very easy and smooth giving her the confidence she needs to have if she gets in a bad situation of having to use it. I’ve enjoyed shooting it myself with her at the range. She has no problem handling a mild recoil that this firearm gives out. I believe this is a great alternative to both the .380 and 9MM. BTW the only other manufacturer who builds this firearm charges ten times more than I paid Buds for one. Albeit are very fine handgun it is. But I am just a middle income guy, who can always wish. I’m content with a Colt 1911 in .45 ACP

Smith & Wesson 30 Super Carry. I love Smith & Wesson. Bought this just because it was different, LOVE IT. Holds 10 rounds, about 30 percent less recoil then 9 mm. The 100 grain is every bit as powerful as the 115 grain 9mm. I have a Glock 9mm, Smith & Wesson 9mm and a Bersa 9mm. I’ll rank this Smith & Wesson 30 super carry right up there with all of them. Feeds great ejects great. 200 round, not one problem. Buds is great to deal with.

I am very pleased with this gun. As advertised, the side is easier to rake than one most other guns. The felt recoil is very light as well. I compared the Shield Ez 30 Super Carry’s recoil to other guns that were similar in some way: Beretta 84BB, Beretta Tomcat, CZ 75 D PCR Compact, and the Savage 1907. The Beretta 84BB is a .380, the Tomcat and Savage are 32 ACP. SAAMI specifies 0.312″ for .32 ACP. 30 Super Carry is also .312”. The CZ 75 D PCR is 9mm. Not too surprisingly, the Tomcat, even though it is firing a relatively weak cartridge, had the most recoil from its 2.9” barrel. The Tomcat is a blowback action. It is also the lightest at 14.5 Oz. The 1907 Savage has a 3.75” barrel, which is slightly longer than the Shield Ez 30 Super Carry’s 3.68” barrel. It also weighs nearly 5 oz. less than the Super Carry. The felt recoil on the Savage was slightly more than the Super Carry. The Beretta 84BB is very close in size, weight and barrel length to the Super Carry. However, the felt recoil on the Beretta was much more. The Beretta is also a blowback action. The CZ is slightly larger than the Super Carry and weighs 4 oz. more. The felt recoil of the Super Carry is comparable to the CZ. I found the Super Carry to be accurate, easy to operate and comfortable to shoot. I only wish Smith and Wesson would come out with an extended magazine to give it 15 to 17 round capacity.

I have a complete shoulder replacement this super 30 carry Smith & Wesson is a great gun I have very poor strength in both of my arms and the EZ 30 super Carry is a great gun I can pull the slide back no strain very satisfied to shoot this gun with my strength level

Excellent gun for my wife to begin with. It is a quality firearm and easy to handle. The transaction at Buds was flawless.

First M&P Smith & Wesson I bought read a lot of reviews did lotta research so I thought why not buy one with the new caliber 30 super carry, shoots great love the gun great conceal carry gun, great price

So far reliable and fun to shoot. My wife loves it. It’s going to be a regular at the range on weekends.

Saw this new handgun come out on the market and it caught my attention. Looked at several different places and file only find it at Buds Gun Shop. Ordered online and arrived at my FFL in 2 days. Although ammo is not easy to find I finally found several boxes and off to the range I went. The handgun was light, had a very good feeling in the hand with the grips provided. Loading the mags were very easy and all mechanical aspects of the handgun seemed to be excellent. Fired the weapon starting at 7 yards then 15 yards and finally 25 yards. Bullet placement was very consistent as the weapon was sighted in accurately out of the factory box. No mechanical issues encountered such as fouling, stove pipe (s), Weapon was easy to fire, trigger was consistent and had a good feel and trigger pull pressure for firing. Recoil was good and was able to keep on target ( 6 inch ) consistently with rapid fire. Very nice handgun / size as it will be easy to carry concealed. Great purchase from Buds Gun Shop as well as timely in receiving the handgun.
