I've had this Bergara for several years, and I'm well pleased. It's an excellent coyote gun. I do have a few warnings, if you're considering it. 1) With a thermal scope, it is HEAVY. You don't want to pack it far, and shooting it freehand/standing is not gonna work. 2) I couldn't get it to hold a pattern, straight from the box. Online research led me to taking the stock off where I found blobs of paint and plastic covering the aluminum bedding points. Once I sanded all that off and re-installed the barrel, it was spot on. If you aren't prepared to check that, and correct it, this may not be your best choice. It was a love/hate relationship at first. If this is your first dealing with Bud's, they're the best. I'd give them 6 stars out of 5!

I waited until I broke in the barrel per MFG direction. This rifle, topped with a Nightforce SHV 3-10x42 and loaded with Hornady 140 GR BTHP- M - produced sub 05 groups at 100 yards, The action is smooth the stock feels balanced and well purposed! I am truly pleased with this purchase and Buds Guns!
