Happy with rifle. Feed failure on 3rd round but seemed to resolve itself and fed smoothly from the magazine, all Ruger magazines, for an additional 67 rounds. Iron sites were apparently high and to the right about 4 inches at 100 yards, but easily adjusted.

Arrived quickly, excellent customer service, would shop again.

Nice rifle, not for long range. I scoped mine and it's good for about 200 yards for coyotes and wild pigs.

This rifle has been around for a long time but still in a way feels modern. It shoots fun on the range. I like the stainless steel look to it. Feels very solid.

A true classic, and just a fun rifle to shoot. Added a red dot to help my older eyes. More accurate then the older models, 2 MOA with federal 223 ammo. Think hoot to shoot, not 200 yard 1" groups. An AR in sheep's clothing.

Great little workhorse. People complain about MoA, but I think MoA is an overused term. This thing puts shots where I want it to at 250 yards, although not a tack driver, it shoots tight enough groups for what it is. Stick to ruger factory mags, I’ve put 1,000 + through it with 0 malfunctions.

this is my first time ruger mini 14, nice rugged rifle. great for shots under 200yds. not a long distance rifle cause of the short barrel. works just fine for what it's designed for!

Terrific quality carbine. A little cold to the touch. I might have rather had a wood stock. Certainly will hold up better than wood.

I am a fan of this rifle and have been since I purchased one in 1974 the year that they were introduced. The one that I just purchased from Buds gun shop has some great improvements from the one that I mentioned above. I would have to say that I "LIKE" it a lot. I am going to add some optics, a larger capacity mag and a muzzle brake/flash suppressor like I have on my old one and then I will be able to give a more detailed review on how it performs. Thumbs up to Budsgunshop.

Excellent rifle. It shoots like a dream. Best of all the lowest price for a brand new one.

The mini was ready to go right out of the box. Will look to Bud's in the future for more big boy toys. (1911?)

Just picked up my Mini-14 from my FFL dealer this afternoon. Shipping was quick and I was told via email exactly when I could expect it to be deliverd and it was exactly on time. Have not shot it as of yet, but as I am very familiar with Ruger products owning three other guns from them I know I will not be disappointed. Thanks Bud's you have a new happy customer!

Bought my Mini 14 SS synthetic from Buds a month ago. After the smooth transaction, slow-ass shipping, and stupid CA 10-day waiting period It was time to shoot this great rifle. Out of the box, with iron sights, no scope, I was able to place 2-3 inch groups at 75yrds. Pretty accurate. Threw a scope on it and I easily shot the same groups at 100yrds. This rifle is different then the AR(of course) and it is all a matter of personal preference. I didn't buy a combat rife to occasionally use to hunt/target shoot. I bought a target/hunting rifle to occasionally use for combat(hopefully never). BTW: use ONLY FACTORY RUGER MAGS with this rifle, crappy aftermarket mags will only disappoint with failure to feeds. Great rifle for a great price(from Buds).

I just recieved my new style mini 14 yesterday and it looks great. The rifle is brand spanking new, and just as described. I just cant wait to pick it from my dealer in 10 days and break it in.
