This handgun is better than I expected. Very well made and no malfunctions out of the box. I like the longer sight radius, and it points well. I have only fired the Federal 115 grain hollow points that I bought with the gun, but those fed without a problem. And the grip, I have large hands, but it fits my hand well. And the smaller grip really reduces the chance it will "print" while I'm carrying. It's very comfortable to carry also, with a weight and size in between full size and compact. All in all, a very portable, reliable easy to handle pistol.

For the record this might just be my pistol’s issue, I’m not saying you’ll have the same experience and I’m not saying you won’t. With that being said, I don’t trust it 100%. First it didn’t like the PMC 124 gr JHP ammo I chose. Had a few failures to feed. It didn’t even chamber the round the first time. Also, after around 300 rounds, I experienced the feeding issues through 3 magazines. Blazer 124gr FMJ did fine. No issues there. Mag dumped it with the factory trigger. The trigger was not the best. I think that take up before the wall is about the same as Beretta APX A1 carry(look it up on YouTube if you don’t know what I’m talking about). After considering buying a new trigger, I decided I can’t use it anymore because I’m a trigger snob as well as a person who likes having the piece of mind that my firearm has the needed performance straight out the box and won’t fail when it’s an emergency.

Very good pistol, I did not read the description well and found it did not have a manual safety. Like the idea of the G3c frame and G3 slide, Madde it easier to install light I had on hand.

My hands are on the large size and this gun still fits nicely. I've only been able to fire it once and it's a snappy little thing. But it's still not a bad recoil. Great little gun and Bud's had it shipped and I recieved it in 3 days.

I've been interested in the G3 series for quite awhile and one day as I was perusing Buds the price on the XL version was too good to pass up. It has some heft, which I like. The trigger is kind of squishy but it's light and you can indeed tell when it's going to break. The "double action" feature makes it great for dry firing with a laser cartridge inserted.

This was my very first firearm. Right out of the box I took it to the range and put 400 rounds of winchester white box through it. Only 2 jams that were probably due to a combination of cheapest ammo available and user error. The guy that went with me was skeptical and kind of made fun of me for the purchase (he's a Walther guy) but at the end of the range day he was very impressed. Not enough to get one himself but he said he took back every bad thing he said about it. This thing is reliable, easy to break down and clean, the kick is manageable for a new shooter, and you can't beat that price. Again, my first firearm ever and my first purchase through Bud's and I am extremely pleased with the experience overall.

Very versatile pistol. It is like the "C" in that it takes 12 round mags but also takes 15s and 17s. Mec-gar makes the mags and they use the same ones for Sig 226. The XL conceals well but still has a full size feel. The trigger is a dream. It only gets better with the Lakeline mods. Now, the trigger is right around 3.5 to 3.75 lbs. I'm thinking about the threaded barrel and a comp next. With or without, its a tack hammer. Groups keep getting tighter and tighter.

Taurus hit a home run with this firearm. I love the size and feel. Functions flawlessly with all types of ammo.

I actually carry this gun as a back up weapon on duty in a crossbreed modular holster inside my external vest carrier. I also find myself daily carrying it off duty instead of my other weapons. I added an Ameriglo front night sight and find the pistol is accurate. It’s a little heavier than most with the 4 inch barrel, but I’ll trade it in order to have a more accurate pistol pushing a little more fps behind the 9mm. Great gun.

Purchased the G3XL as my first handgun. Very easy to take down and clean. Very accurate and reliable. Feeds everything I feed it reliably. Grip texture is very aggressive but helps keep the firearm in your hands when shooting. So far, I've put 250 rounds through it with zero malfunctions...Federal, Freedom Munitions, Blazer Brass, and more...115gr and 124gr...all ran flawless. Big thanks to Buds for super quick shipping.

Seriously, I don't know why more people aren't buying these. Price/performance is right on. Yeah it's not as flashy as some of the more expensive comparables on the market but I'm buying it to shoot not show off. Trigger pull is nice and light and the reset is short. It's been dependable so far, no stoppages. Frame length is right on. I have fat meaty hands and my pinky fits snug on the mag lip, no slide bite. While conceal carrying profile is almost invisible. The magazines are a little difficult to load when getting to the last few rounds. This is my first Taurus auto and I'm not sure if it's a Taurus thing or I'm just getting old. Grip texture is VERY aggressive so you may need to get used to it. I feel Taurus has really turned a corner in quality and function. So far very pleased with my purchase. Thanks Buds!

I was impressed. Nice trigger. No jams. Low recoil. Chicks dig it. The grip texture is a little “aggressive”indeed. Some sandpaper or a Houge grip sleeve may help. The grip sleeve adds considerable bulk to the grip so it may not be ideal for you if you want to CC it. Overall, not bad for the money. Look like a rockstar by telling the GF she can keep it after a range trip.

Excellent product . Am very happy and waiting to try it out at the range. Recommend it to anyone who is looking for a super gun with an affordable price. This is my second Taurus and I swear by that
